AW: Anatomy Scan

I have mine tomorrow and I know there at least 4 more tomorrow alone. I figured it would be a good idea to have a centralized post for us to all AW our appointment results and ultrasounds. Who's with me?!

I'm at 8:30 AM tomorrow and know I won't be able to sleep tonight!

Mine was Friday, so I probably don't count but it was pretty disappointing. They couldn't see everything because baby was breech so I have to repeat it in a month. Also found out she has a marginal cord attachment so instead of the cord being in the center of the placenta, its to the side where its not as nutrient rich. Not a terribly big deal, but ill be closely monitored.

@kismetjess you do count! All anatomy scans on F15 count! Glad you didn't have majorly disappointing results and will be monitored closer to ensure the greatest health for your LO!

ETA: So many scans this week...I'm nervous as well, hoping the twins are growing equally since they share a placenta. My biggest fear is TTTS with these two.

Mine is on Tuesday morning at 7:30AM! So glad it will be first thing in the morning. Monday is going to drag a lot more than usual! I hope everyone's on F15 goes well!

While I'm here, I have a silly question. Am I supposed to do anything special before the anatomy scan? Like drink water at a certain time or eat something specific? I didn't receive any appointment instructions but I seem to remember seeing a post about someone drinking their water too early before her scan and her bladder wasn't full enough? Or was that post MUD?

No one told me to do anything specific for mine but then again I didn't find out about the appt until Friday afternoon.

I wasn't told anything specific, but I might go in with a full bladder cause I figure the worst thing thay can happen is im told to go to the bathroom... if it's not full enough it means rescheduled.

Thinking of all you ladies this week. I understand how nerve wracking it can be.

We had ours a week ago. She is growing healthy, yay! She was laying breech so the tech couldn't get a great pic of the spine. We go back 10/2 for a follow up. From what she saw she said there is no need to worry though.

Good luck to all with A/S's coming up and fingers crossed for healthy babies!

We are 16wks and have an ultrasound this week but just a follow up. I am excited for them to confirm baby's sex (they were surprisingly pretty certain at our NT scan at 12wks) and they'll probably schedule our A/S in 4 weeks. We should be hearing back about the 2nd round of bloodwork this week so anxious to hopefully hear baby is nice and healthy.

Mine is the 22nd and I'm so excited my husband gets to experience it this time. He was deployed for our first pregnancy and missed everything but the birth ( so thankful I had him there for that.)

I had my scan today!! The tech said it all looks good. The LO was such a good boy/girl. All the measurements were easily taken. Got to hear the heartbeats too. Oh ye and the LO definitely moves. I can't feel it yet though! But I am going to do my little dance today.
GL to all you ladies for ur scans! You all are going to be in my prayers.
