My baby came early

My baby girl was born on Sept. 11th at 36 weeks 3 days. Her name is Vivian Jade and she weighed 4 pounds, 9 ounces and was 18.5 inches long. Luckily, we had just decided on the name a few days before! 

I went to the doctor for my 36 week appointment on Wednesday and my blood pressure was high all of a sudden. BP had been on the low end of normal during my entire pregnancy so this was alarming. I was also 2 cm dilated. The doctor sent me to the hospital right away and I had to stay overnight. The next morning, my BP was still high and I was 3 cm dilated, so the doctor decided to to induce me. Vivian was born about 6 hours later.

My BP remained high even after delivery, so we had to spend an extra day in the hospital for monitoring my BP. We've been home now for 3 days and we are enjoying our new baby girl so much! Pictures are attached.
