Maternity photo shoots that are super personal and get posted online. Mainly where the partner is kissing or hugging the belly, mom is showing skin/bare belly, and/or both. I’m all for people getting maternity photos how they want, but I don’t want to see that on my newsfeed.

Stuck in the box.
While we're at it, what is up with the bathtub maternity pictures?!
Haha didn't realize it was an UO- I love maternity photos, nursing photos, and birth photos. I follow a ton of birth photographers so my feed is super graphic. I also posted some of my birth photos and gave my photographer permission to share my photos online. No vag shots, but people regularly send me screenshots of me with my bloody squish grabbing him right after he was born that they find posted to different blogs or compilations around the web.
@craftywitch I don’t have an issue with birth photos, even the graphic ones. It’s more of the skin showing / sexy type maternity photos that make me squeamish. Particularly the ones of my family members. I dunno. Didn’t realize my UO would be so UO! Lol!
@kiwi2628 I live in an area where a class can have 5 Britney's, but none are spelled the same. Drives me nuts. My neighbors named their son Braxtyn and daughter Qailey(pronounced Kaylee). Giant eye roll.
I love all the maternity and boudoir photos! A high school acquaintance does this kind of photography and I love seeing her work. But also, I see naked lady bodies of all sizes every day at work, so this photography doesn’t phase me.
It’s not the nakedness of the bathtub photos that bothers me. It’s the total randomness. I can’t even imagine the thought process behind it. Let’s fill this bathtub with milk and violet flower petals and I’ll hover precariously over you while we take these pictures, okay?
@daffodil_shoe I totally get that! It’s just not for me. My practical/frugal side just can’t get behind it. Plus, I think I’m just annoyed by the overall extra instagram pictures. But clearly, I’m in the minority there.
I don’t like super hero movies. At all. They are all the same to me. Also, while I’m on movies... While the old Disney (cartoon) movies have nostalgia for me, I can’t fathom getting excited for all these recycled remakes. They are for kids right? **ducks and hides**
@cmd723-z I sort of agree with you... I liked the Marvel movies at first, but they have gotten sillier and sillier. When anything is possible then nothing means anything. As for the Disney movies, I wish they were at least told from a different character’s point of view instead of just a total copy.
Ditto on the superhero movies @cmd723-z. I am actually not a huge movie person in general. I don't mind them, just we never make time to go see them in the theater, and then never really watch them at home.
Ya I should also mention that while I like watching movies at home, movie theaters give me major anxiety. So watching a movie with a lot of action scenes is like one giant panic attack for me. Something about being in a very dark room with a lot of strangers for 2 hours gives me the creeps. (I know I’m weird lol).
@doodleoodle I agree that the new Disney movies would be way more interesting if they weren’t exact copies. I liked Maleficent. But I wouldn’t say I was super excited about it either. It was just a pleasant surprise when it turned out to not be boring!
People who go by nicknames or their middle name. As an elementary teacher it is annoying to have all my cubbies, folders, etc labeled for meet the teacher only to have to relabel because John goes by Johnny. Just name them what you want them to be called or they'll spend their whole life correcting people to not call them by their legal name.
@brookert615 me too! One of my husband's cousins became a Beachbody coach a couple of years ago and turned her personal Instagram into a "work" account. I followed you because I want to see your family, not your workouts and accountability group promotions.... 🙄🙄🙄🙄I finally had to remove her from my feed because pregnancy hormones were making me ragey about it.
Connected to @readingteacher89’s UO, don’t give nicknames to people who prefer to be called by their full name. We almost didn’t name DD what we did because we HATE the most common nickname. We call her by her full name and I hate when people assume she goes by a nickname!
I don't like Spiderman movies. There have just been too many that are remakes of each other over the past decade that it's turned me off the franchise. I'm fine with Spiderman cameos in other superhero movies, tho.
@doodleoodle Agree about the Disney remakes. It just strikes me as a money grubbing scheme to capitalize on nostalgia of ppl who saw the cartoons as kids and are now adults in their 20s and 30s (of which I am one).

Sorry, ma’am. Totally not gonna saddle my kid with the name Johnny because that is what I want to call him when he’s little. He’s going to be an adult a lot longer than he will be a child so he deserves an adult name.
@brookert615 Omg beachbody....I had a friend on instagram who messaged me several times because I watched her stories (she has a cute baby I was watching stories of amidst her workout ones) and tried to recruit me twice!!!! Finally blocked her. No baby is worth that harassment when ivd never expressed interest!
I can't stand when people post multiple pictures of the exact same thing. You went to a concert, traveled to a new city, had a professional photoshoot, or saw a pretty sunset? Cool. I don't need to see 7 identical shots of the exact same thing. Pick your favorite, or if picking multiple photos to share, have a little variety. Edit, people!! Don't just select everything in your camera roll.
@mandk1233@babyroma I think it’s The Who pyramid scheme vibe that sets me off! I’m glad I’m not alone haha! It’s very clear that I’m doing a program that I love on my social media and I was getting bombarded with request to join a free group 🙄. It’s also frightening that these coaches don’t really have actual certifications in nutrition and exercise and then giving false hope to women they end up baiting into their schemes lol. Ok rant over!
@craftywitch LOL! That’s a little different than my main annoyance! P90X is legit lol. Mine all stems from being harassed by coaches to join their “teams” 🙄
Baby showers after #1 is tacky. If someone wants to throw you one, then sure I guess let them. But I have coworkers that have had them for 3rd and 4th babies. Do you not have enough stuff by then??
@jessieR358 my coworkers surprised me with a shower when I was pregnant with my third. I did feel a bit awkward because it was my third, but they really wanted to celebrate the baby and me. It felt good and they didn’t buy me a lot of stuff other than some diapers, which always go to good use 😊

Its mediocre at best to me.
