I'll be 30, most of my family already have two or three kids so I was the odd ball for waiting so long. I never felt the need to start having kids early and enjoyed just being married. I'm actually really glad we waited as we have a better relationship together and I'm finally in a place that I'm happy with the way my life is going.
FTM and I'll be 26 when monster is born. We had planned on waiting a few more years before trying to conceive but this baby was just meant to happen apparently! I'm still in grad school and really wanted to finish/establish myself in a career first.
I cannot fathom having a baby while in grad school. You are superwoman!
I'm in the waited until career was established camp. For me this included 7 years of grad school and 5 years of postdoc and then 2 years in my current tenure tracked job, so this LO will be born when I'm 36. My DH and I met in grad school and most of our friends only started having children within the last 2-3 years so for us this is pretty typical. We also have a lot of friends who are either still single or not planning on having kids at all. However, waiting so long is atypical in my family so they are really excited that we are having a kid because I think they thought we were not even going to try since we are so "old". All I can say is that I'm really glad the term "geriatric" pregnancy has gone out of style. I really really don't feel geriatric :-*
This is my first and I'll be 32. DH is in his 40s I was thinking I would be pregnant by 29 or 30...but apparently my body thought it would be more fun for us to try for years before our lil miracle surprised us.
I will be 32 with baby #1 Joshua, unless he's six or more days late I will be 33. My husband will be 29. Most my friends had kids in their 20's. 1st grand baby on my husband's side of the family. He's the first of his friends to get married and have a baby.
