@shellbell3845, what age range? If they have the range for it, Rutter's For the Beauty of the Earth is awesome SA and has some great dynamic and tempo shifts that make it a great learning piece. I also love Panis for younger voices. (I'm a giant church choir nerd and will happily geek out about music selections whenever!)

@iwubrory‌ We got a hickory coloured laminate for the rest of house. No real hardwood because of dog claws. I like it, don't love it, but I do love the price. $1.57 a sq ft. My nephew is coming over tomorrow to install it. We're also going to paint the ugly kitchen cabinets, and replace the ugly tile and ugly counter top in the kitchen. Then our projects are over. We just keep repeating "this is not our dream house, it doesn't have to be perfect"

@shellbell3845‌, do you have the becker litany? I think it's in GIA Gather in satb in the choir version. You need a decently confident soloist, but it's beautiful for all saints!

I mentioned earlier DS1'S school was closed due to an emergency. Well someone broke into the K-3 building, stole some property, vandalized and broke all the interior windows. He will not have school for the rest of the week because they need to repair and clean everything up. This breaks my heart because he has a book fair tomorrow and a back to school party on Thursday. I'm so upset that someone would do this. Especially to the little kids that actually like going to school and their parents will need to make other arrangements for care for the week. The worst part is the story the school provided is not adding up. This makes me anxious for him to go back to school next week.

I saw a dog get hit on the highway driving to work today. It was traumatizing. My kids at work were crazy, I have a new coteacher, and it was Monday. LO passed out early and I couldn't get her in pjs. I'm worried she will be hungry and cold. Prepared for MOTN wake up after 5am wake up this morning. Just not a good start to the week.

To top it off...I just looked across the room and saw cat puke on the nice rug. @-)

Well, we're planning to sleep train tonight and for the first time in a long time DD went to sleep and has stayed asleep for the first hour. That little cutie isn't fooling me though, I know she'll be up to her shenanigans sooner or later. It would have been nice to get the first round in before we went to bed. Now I have a feeling DH won't get up to do the first round like he's supposed to.. he sleeps like a log.
