DH is taking me shopping for new bras today since my boobs have decided to become massive overnight.

By the way, I'm sorry for all you ladies that are having these awful MIL problems. You make me appreciate mine a little more. The biggest problem I have with my MIL is that she wants to be a little TOO INVOLVED with mine and DHs relationship and the baby stuff... And she's kind of an emotional roller coaster

Non alcoholic beer is like decaf coffee... What's the point? I mean I like both for their flavor more than the effect but the fakes don't even have the flavor...

Agreed. I tried non alcoholic beer a couple months ago and it was BLAH. It makes me so sad to be pregnant during fall. Delicious pumpkin beer season!! *sob*

That 2nd tri board upset me with the woman not wanting her baby because it's a girl so much I haven't gone back. Sometimes I really do wish you should be required to go through a psych eval before procreating.

Agreed.

I honestly think people should be required to pass a test before having children. I know, in reality, that seems fucked up, but think of all the fucked up people that wouldn't be allowed to have children!!! Society would be a much better place

Mocktails. A couple months ago I bought a few different juices, grenadine, and caffeine free soda and mixed up a few things and put them in a fun glass.... 2 sips and I realize I just was making fancy juice. Hardly satisfying.

Definitely appreciate the non alcoholic beer recommendations. I'm sure I've convinced you all I'm a drunk now but there's something about cook outs or football watching that does it to me.

It's pricey and you can't use a coupon on it. I did the math: if our second child is in it until she's 4 yrs old, then the stroller will have cost us about $140/yr. Ha!

Yes we will definitely test drive! It is quite the investment! Wish we would have just got the single 2.5 years ago, so we could just add another seat now!

Work yesterday was tough. Walked in (had my same 3 pts back), but looked at my first guy then at night shift RN. Gave each other that look of "crap- this is about to go bad." It did. During the code, I was walking quickly and fell hard on my knees. Said I was fine but started to feel it a few hours later when I finally sat back down to start charting. I was really hurting.

Ended up getting sent downstairs to the ED. Doppler and fetal u/s were good but told to rest, Tylenol and ok for back to work. Male ER doc gave me a lecture about how I should be more careful during pg because my body was changing and my balance could be off. Well no shit Sherlock, I already have a kid. I was freaking WALKING and rolled my ankle in my Danskos. I wasn't being unsafe, but hey guy- please keep lecturing me about my changing body and how I need to take care of myself when I haven't peed nor eaten all day bc that comes with my job.

My DH experienced this.. it was from a fischer (sp?). Needed to have super minor surgery to fix it. Hope you feel better soon.

So just got back from shopping with MIL. Wasn;t as bad as I expected. I think she kind of tested me on certain shit. Because she'd ask me what brand of bottles do you want or what do you think about buying this.

And I would just honestly tell her brand of bottles doesn't matter to me because you end up using cheap walmart parent choice ones or cheap ones you find anyway so a start off brand doesn't matter to me. She was happy by that because apparently her son only wants specific bottles used for his kids.

Also I could care less about diaper genies and bull like that. Apparently my SIL wanted all of that kind of stuff.

I just straight up told her I know what I don't need and I know what I won't use. If I think I won't use it I won't buy it or let someone else buy it for me. Apparently she was relieved and hoping I wouldn't be a diva about what I want for LO.

But we just got some cute little toys and some bath towels. One has a hippo head and I really thought it was just adorable. I bought a halloween outfit that says batty for mommy. But Lo will be wearing it even though it won't be a halloween baby.

Now DH is off getting us jack in the box for lunch.

Does anyone know if there's a way to set it up so that TB automatically shares your weekly update on FB?

My mom has been throwing a fit because she can never remember how far along I am and wants to see my baby stuff on FB like my cousins have set theirs up. I hate the pregnancy trackers they have for FB though so I just want to know if I'll be manually sharing for the next 21 weeks or if I can do it the lazy way.
