Today is church, cleaning, grocery store and picking up our new king sized bed frame we found on CL. Looks like I could be sleeping in a bigger bed on Wednesday yippee.

Then I might depress myself looking for cute non black maternity pants that are long enough for me.

I finished Little Mercies by Heather Gudenkauf. Talked about child abuse and a little girl left in a hot car. I usually love her books but this made me sad.

@miniwheat10‌ - drinking? Sometimes spilling the whole story to DH in ten minutes helps me get it off my chest, then I refuse to talk about it anymore. Also going for walks. Having a bad time at work is a crappy feeling.

@miniwheat10 we are both pharmacists, work for the same healthcare system, but we work at 2 different hospitals. It makes it easy to relate to one anothers annoyances, stresses, bad work day, etc. We usually fill each other in on our days & vent, but when he or I have had enough we remind each other you're home now, try to enjoy xyz (whatever we are doing). You have to mentally shut yourself off & fully commit to home or it will drive you crazy.

I am starting back on nights early this week. Why do I say yes to working these extra days?? 10 hour night shifts for the next 10 days straight. This is the last time. [-(

DD turns two today. I am currently sitting in the car on the way to her special breakfast while DH takes her to timeout. She refuses to get In her seat. Its going to be a great day.

MIL wanted to tell us a story about a "snobby" lady she gave birth next to many years ago. As we all waited patiently for the punch line, she told us that the woman was soooo snobby by naming her kid William and was standing firm that he would be William with no nickname.

Me: "so are you criticizing that? Because that's our son's name."

I'm going to toot my own horn for just a second.

I'm leaving for a two week vacation next Friday and last night while my husband was at work, I bolted to the grocery store and came back and prepared freezer meals for him. (Only a few, because let's be honest, if he were out of town I would eat out every night). I'm excited for when he opens the freezer and he sees all my hard work

However, after all my efforts last night (and in an attempt to get a month worth of work done in 10 days) I have been having annoying tension headaches. I think I'm going to need to get a quick head,neck, and shoulder massage before sitting on planes for 24 hours any other remedies for tension headaches?

So we went to Babies R Us last night for an impromptu look at the double stroller I really want. Well... they don't even sell it. Seriously?! I was so frustrated!!

Poor DH thinks I've lost my mind. It is so tough not really "needing" to do anything to prepare for this new baby! We don't need to buy anything! We aren't planning to buy and set up Ella's big girl room until after the baby comes. We have thousands of baby girl clothes. We are waiting until January to get the stroller, when it will hopefully be super discounted... I am just stressed and feel like we aren't doing anything!

That's my little rant for the day.

Chicken is in the crock pot for shredded chicken tacos tonight (yum!) and we'll be going on a walk and to the park soon.  When DD is napping this afternoon, I'll be working on my September newsletter for my classroom, run 5.1 miles, paint my nails blue (for blue week in my Kindergarten classroom!) and do a load of laundry.  

OH!  And Bengals game at 1!    WHO DEY!

Suppose to go to BBB with the MIL today. Doubt it will happen. Only reason she invited me to go was to cover up her mistake of thinking I was her daughter and texting me messages meant for her.

@lizzybean, I feel the same way. We have everything, except maybe clothes, but we won't know that for over 2 weeks so I feel like I'm sitting on my hands as far as doing things and being able to physically get my excitement for this baby out.

@miniwheat10‌ I used to be the same way at my old job-I have found that doing something to clear my head be it working out, yoga or just taking the dog for a short spin helped. I also have this rule that once I am in bed I am not allowed to think about work bc I used to find that I would be trying to go to sleep and panic about something I needed to get done or get aggravated about something that had happened that day. Being stressed about work is the pits!! I hope it gets better!!

jennhillhoite Yes!! It's kind of like... now what?! Now we just wait 23 weeks?

I think I may start talking and researching decor for Ella's big girl room. Even if we aren't getting the big furniture for a while, nailing down a theme and some decor might help scratch this itch.

I am very much a planner and a list maker and it is driving me crazy not checking anything off for months!!

@miniwheat10 I can't really help you too much; I'm the designated sounding board in the house for DH's work rants.  Sometimes a walk or gardening helps him calm down if it's not too much.

Last night was closing night of DH's play.  He didn't win the script writing competition, but was the audience favorite.  I got to consume soft drinks while he had complimentary booze.  Mine was also free, but boo.

Today I'm letting interns into the hostel, so it's sticking close to home and doing chores (mostly laundry).

That's kind of why we think Thomas is out. LOVE Thomas, hate Tom/Tommy. I don't want to have to constantly correct people.

Also MIL should STFU.

That's why Lucas is out for us. We love Lucas and even like Luke, but our last name starts with a C so Luke C makes it sound like his name is Lou.

I don't mind Will as a nn and that's why William stuck better than others.

Yes, she also needs to STFU. AND she knows it really bothers me when people touch my belly. She brings attention to it and RUBS it endlessly. It really makes me not want to ever be around her. I'm not touchy feely in the first place and it's like she trying to force me to be.

Yep. But if she wants to buy LO stuff because she feels guilty I'm not stopping her.

I did learn Friday that apparently DH's siblings won't stop at his mother or grandmothers house if they see our car there because I'm the one that drives the red car.

Nice to know. Considering IDGAF whose at her house when I stop.

So apparently if the mom or dad of the twins needs to go pick them up they drive past because I'm there and don't go get their kids.

Screw that I'd never do that with DD. People need to grow up.

DH always says I should shop with my mom because she buys me/us/babies tons of stuff. I feel like I'm using her for that because I definitely don't enjoy it. Ugh. Good luck!!

You know maybe I should feel guilty. But its like at this point I really don't care anymore. With how these people treat me all the time and everything I've done for his family I just don't feel bad about anything anymore.

@lizzybean I hate having so much extra time to plan. As of right now I've already planned two different feasible bedroom options for DS. My next step is to get measurements and plan room layouts.

The kids will have to share a room (after new LO is 6+ months) but if DH doesn't let me do something baby related soon I'll be planning two bedrooms instead of one. Guests can stay on the pull out bed in the living room, lol.

So I'm at urgent care hooked up to an Iv for dehydration. 24 hrs of a stomach bug, uti and no fluid will do that.

I am so, so glad that DH isn't a lover of professional sports, it bores me to death and I will never understand all the hype.  My sister's husband is WAY into football and yells and screams and puts on the TV while we're all just hanging out and talking and it's annoying.  DH couldn't care less about football and Sunday mornings are reserved for big pancake and bacon breakfasts, going for walks and being lazy! I know, I know, UO!!

We are heading to an arts festival this afternoon once Adeline wakes up from her nap.  We tried to go an acrobat show yesterday but once we got there (after an hour drive) they had closed because of the possible thunder and lightning.  We ended up going out to dinner at my favorite Malaysian restaurant so it wasn't a completely ruined evening!

I'm on bed rest...the weather is been the best it's been all summer... there's wine fests going on in the small villages (I'd only go for the food)..and I'm stuck inside. :-(

So I ended up in the hospital yesterday after a called the nurses hotline.  I was having really bad pains and they got even worse if I would try to lay down, so the nurse called the ER to let them know I was coming in for possible PTL. Everything is ok,  apparently I have a kidney infection type UTI, But the day was pretty interesting.

I am delivering at a women's hospital and I didn't even know they had an ER so I had no clue where I was going so my mom asked the security guard.  The security guard said "oh she's way to far along for the ER we'll let L&D know she's coming so she can have the baby" cue my tears.  I started freaking out and told him it was way too soon and that I was only 17weeks but with twins. he apologized and offered to get me a wheel chair.

I went to the ER and I don't think anyone else was there because the nurses took me right away and put me in a room, and got the ball rolling.  Then I got an US and the tech told me she could tell without a doubt but I declined finding out the sexes because DH wasn't with me.  Then my mom started texting DH and he told me to get the tech to write it down, so I asked.  So now I have the results in an envelope that I can't open until later until we are with the whole family.  

I was not impatient at all, I said no at the US, but now I am stuck with the results so close and I am getting antsy.

Yeah @sugahcookie01‌ I think it will be a fun year for the Bengals and the Ravens have some good stuff working for them heading into this season. Argh I just want some beer with my football...
