  Hello Sweet Peas!

  I am still on Lupron, Estrace, and Vivelle patches.  Not much has changed for me.  I am a little nervous about waiting until Monday, September 8 for our first b/w and ultrasound.  I have never been very successful at growing a thick uterus, so I am hoping we are on the right road!  What's weird is my RE office only sends FET clients for one ultrasound as long as the first one shows at least 5mm.  They say it will continue to improve until the FET, but how do they know?  This is my first FET so I feel clueless.  During our first IVF, that RE kept upping my meds to get the lining to thicken, but my uterus would not cooperate.  My nurse said if it is not what they want they will have me get more ultrasounds.  I know there are so many more options now, but I want to be aggressive rather than wait too long and get cancelled.

  AFM: My meds are being dropped off today and I'm so excited to get this started! My nurse called today and said that me and Dh will have to have our retrievals together on the same day. Which means we have to rope on of our friends into coming to pick us up and drive us since we will both be under. I go back on the 12th to see if I can start Lupron. Okay well thats it for me right now....

  Just came from day 13 monitoring - 21 follicles, mostly between 14-17. They thought I'd have retrieval on Thursday, but now she'd like to push back to Friday, so I'm stick in a rented apartment 3 hrs from DH for a few more days. It's his birthday today and I have to miss it.    

  
  

  They reduced my dose to 75IU, which is great financially, but sucks a little because at that dose, I have to use a syringe instead of a pen. I've been feeling fairly decent, aside from wicked bloating... but getting a little worried reading everyone's posts about their painful retrievals and remembering how much 'fun' that is. Last time I had 5 eggs and this time I'm hoping for at least 15... so I'm told that may make it feel even worse. Boo.

  Regularly access alternative medicine to supplement a lack of resources in our geographical area.

  • Three rounds of clomid (50mg days 3-7) were useless.
    
  • IUI#1 w/clomid & HCG in May 2013, BFN.
    
  • IUI#2 w/clomid & HCG on July 23rd. BFN.
    
  • IUI #3 in August cancelled last minute, due to lab error.
    
  • IVF#1 - Started Gonal F stims October 13 2013 for IUI. Over-responded with too many follicles, so converted to IVF. Retrieval October 29th - got 5 eggs, 4 fertilized. Had 2 perfect little embryos transferred on day 3 (Nov. 1). The remaining 2 didn't survive to freeze. Got our BFN on November 13th 2013.
    
  • IVF#2 - Started stims August 21st. Triggered with Suprefact, started on dostinex due to risk of OHSS. Retrieval September 5th - got 27 eggs! 21 embryos on day 3. Embryos deteriorated quickly. ESet 5day blast on Sept 10. No embryos high enough quality to freeze. BFN came Sept. 22.

  Reserved a semi-known proven donor in August .

  Day 4 of stims. Had my first monitoring appointment today, and there were four follicles on one side measuring 1.0 to 1.4 (nothing on the other side). I'm trying not to be disappointed... hoping for many more to show up on subsequent visits fx.

  Official diagnosis: Unexplained IF. I am 32. I have low ovarian reserve (low AMH), and poor egg quality. I've also been diagnosed with mild glandular developmental arrest (lining problems, detected with EFT).

  We are using open ID donor sperm. IUIs #1-7=BFN. IVF September 2014 antagonist protocol, 8R,5M,3F, 5 day transfer of 1 morula = BFN. IVF#2 planned for January 2015 (antagonist protocol + HGH).

  I get to join in! Yay and thanks for having me! I'm on day 11 of stims and have 27 follicles. ER probably Saturday. Cetrotide daily in the morning, menopur 187 every evening, and follistim 75 every evening but might change based on labs. RE says he expects 14-18 mature eggs and based on labs and fert report we will decide whether or not to transfer. This is IVF retrieval #2; last time we got 6 day 5 embryos and did 4 transfers with all CPs. We are hoping it was all bad luck and we are using prednisone, lovenox, coq 10, and endometrial scratching. So here's to hoping and best of luck to all! My favorite dress has got to be Pam's from the office. I can't help it I'm from Scranton!

  I have a big day tomorrow... Lining check to make sure that I'm ok for transfer on Thursday. I'm hoping the additional days of Viagra helped my lining thicken up. In addition, our embryos are getting thawed and biopsied - definitely nervous about that! So many moving parts this time that it's hard not to be anxious.
  
  @cwoodward777‌ For my 1st FET, my lining would not get over 6 and I was put on Viagra, which helped me get to 7.5. The good thing about FETs is you have more control over the timing and more options to thicken the lining, but I guess you are right - you would need to catch a problem before starting the progesterone. Maybe if you express your concerns to your doctor, they will do another check before starting the progesterone. I hope your first lining check goes well and that you won't even need to worry about it.

  Good luck to those doing ER & ET this week!

  Started stims Friday evening... so I guess that makes me on Day 4 or Day 5 of stims... not sure if I should count Friday as the first day or not. I had just bw yesterday and have bw again tomorrow plus u/s. They reduced my gonal f some yesterday and added Menopur.

  In the online videos my clinic uses, the Menopur was mixed using a q-cap (which came with my meds) and was drawn into this giant 1 1/2 inch 22 gauge needle that came attached to the syringe you use. So that is what I injected myself with yesterday and it hurt something fierce. I couldn't imagine doing that again and it seemed quite large for a subcutaneous inject so after looking at some different videos online for Menopur, I found out I was supposed to use these smaller needles I had and didn't even need that big needle for anything since I'm using a q-cap. Stupid incorrect video!!! I was really worried about what I did wrong so I called the nurse today and she said using the big needle didn't mess anything up. So hoping everything is going okay and relieved I can use a small needed this evening!

  AFM, I have started ganirelix yesterday… not nice… after the shot, the spot got dark purple owww.  And today my nurse told me that they expect that my retrieval day will be next Monday, 09/08. I am excited and scared at the same time… So far I have only 5 follicles.

  Hey guys! Good luck for everyone who has their ER and ETs this week!
  
  I had my e2 bloodwork yesterday on my day 3 of stims. It was over 400 and the nurse said that was good. I googled it, and I have no idea what my levels should be but she seemed happy. We dropped my dose by half for the gonal, and I skipped my menopur last night but take it again tonight (is that called "coasting?") I have more bloodwork and an ultrasound tomorrow! Next week is retrieval week!
  
  Qotd: I really liked Carrie's wedding dresses in the sex and the city movie.. Basically everyone she tried on in her photoshoot scene!

  I have started my stims at the same day as you, and I am also on Gonal F and Menopur.

  Menopur shots are awful.. I have noticed that ice really helps.. try to grasp the skin between two fingers and hold it firmly.. also when I push the plunger slowly it doesn't burn..

  Finished my BCP today and am on day 3 of Lupron, which is definitely not my friend so far! Constant headaches and super tired from it. I have my Lupron Evaluation apptmt on 9/8. Hopefully everything will look good then and I can move on to stims.

  Well, I got the call. Transfer is on Thursday!! 9/4. We are (hopefully) transferring 2 day 5 frozen blasts. I am scared. If this doesn't work again I am not sure what kind of mental state I will be in. I need good news this year.

  @sweetpotato123 - I am only on 1 patch and 2 estrace pills in the am and 2 in the pm.  This doesn't seem like enough to me, but I trust my RE and know he is looking out for me.  GL with your u/s.

  Nothing new to update. Still waiting on b/w Friday. I've been temping and using OPKs, I know I ovulated, so hopefully I'll start Lupron Friday night.

  Just starting my long drive to my hotel for the night. ER is first thing in the morning. I have my pillow and heated seats, plus some nice little pain pills for the long drive back tomorrow.

  Looks like I'm cancelled.  I ovulated on birth control (there's irony for you) and my progesterone is going up instead of down and I have a post-ovulation cyst.  Basically, they have no idea where in my cycle I am right now.  I've been spotting for weeks while on birth control and lupron.  Which didn't seem to suppress me as planned.  Awaiting phone call from the RE for the official plan at this point. I'm mostly frustrated because I BEGGED for light duty at work for September because of this.  Now it's going to go to waste and I'll be pushed into October, when I'm back working like crazy.  SIGH.  

  I'm also cramping like crazy but apparently I have no lining to shed.  

  My system is apparently very confused right now.

  AFM:  I have nothing to update.  Still on My BCPs and waiting.  I will share that I had a horrible weekend and we found out the my hubby is diabetic.  We spent most of the holiday weekend at the hospital getting his blood sugar under control.  This is just a minor set back and force us both to be more healthy.

  My last BCP was on Sunday, 8/31. I am still on the Lupron and my body seems to be adjusting to it as time goes on. No more headaches. I have been getting bruises from the injections, but nothing thatI can't live with. I have my baseline ultrasound scheduled for Thursday, 9/4. Hopefully everything goes well.

  Thank you for all the well wishes. The FET went well this afternoon.  Nice and easy.  Just a tiny bit of cramping.  Now we start the dreaded 2WW.  We have lots on our calendar which will help.

  My trial transfer was today and it went well.  Had the quickest physical of my life and some more bloodwork.  My RE has me starting Vitamin D (we both read an article recently that suggests women who are Vit D deficient have less of a chance at IVF success) but I can still drink my morning tea, even through stimming and post-transfer.  I think I'll have one cup and switch to decaf!

  I hope y'all don't mind if I come join you. I was suppose to be in august but I obviously don't have the luck of the Irish. I had IVF#1 with ICSI and PGD June 12th. 19R, 18M 18F, 10 made it to 5 days and frozen. 3 genetically normal, 2 girls and a boy and 1 is still unknown and going to be retested. I started prepping for my FET a little over a week later. Originally it was suppose to be around 8-12 but I ovulated on lupron and bcp @siempre595‌ I feel your pain it sucks, I'm sorry.
  
  I had a lining check last week and my lining was a 9 and I just knew today was the day but nope. My lining is 12 which is pretty much my normal for regular cycles and my Dr wants it fluffier. So I go back Friday for another lining check but not getting my hopes up. If and when we ever get to that point we are going to transfer 2 of my popsicles.

  Hey Ladies,
  
  Day 9 of stims and I'm a little bummed out. I have just 2 15mm follies on one side and 2 9mm follies on the other. E2 is 587. I'm continuing my meds and am officially on daily monitoring. We knew we would only get 4-6 at best, but I'm worried they will cancel if they can't get at least 4 to grow together.

  Official diagnosis: Unexplained IF. I am 32. I have low ovarian reserve (low AMH), and poor egg quality. I've also been diagnosed with mild glandular developmental arrest (lining problems, detected with EFT).

  We are using open ID donor sperm. IUIs #1-7=BFN. IVF September 2014 antagonist protocol, 8R,5M,3F, 5 day transfer of 1 morula = BFN. IVF#2 planned for January 2015 (antagonist protocol + HGH).
