Condoms until period and then charting to avoid. Ever since I had kids, I can't remember to take the damn pill. Charting worked well the last time, and we are open to one more. Not for awhile though.

I'm going to discuss it with my OB at my 6 week pp appt but I'm leaning toward the mini pill. My true preference would be none/pull & pray because that worked for us for 4 years before deciding to get KU but DH strongly wants me to be on some "real" BC until we are ready try for #2. We will hopefully start trying again in about a year, so I don't want anything too permanent.

I will probably do permanent birth control like Essure.

Kind of regretting not getting my tubes tied while I had the epidural in.. I just felt so much pressure at the time to make the decision that I decided to wait.

Started progesterone only pill last Sunday but will still use condoms in the beginning as we want to wait at least 2 years before getting pregnant again.

@curlylocks3‌ I have a dear friend who has twins via IVF, was told she would never get pregnant on her own. They were wrong, and in September she will become a 3u2 momma! Wowza!!!!!

Will most likely be the Paraguard IUD. With my ICP diagnosis, hormonal birth controls have a high risk of bringing it back, so I'm pretty limited on options.

Don't worry, I'm not considering myself in the running for Most Likely to Get KU First, despite H's opinion on it. Not happening. @jmar2011 I totally attribute my low mood to Mirena. Getting it out was like night and day.

We are planning on doing a mix of EBF and FAM/condoms. While I'm ok with trying again after 6 months, DH wants them a year apart and so will be diligent about wrapping it up until then.

I am curious though - with EBF as BC, does the 4hr/6hr stretch count when you BEGIN a BF session, or just the stimulation in general? My LO will spend 30-60min at night feeds but will sleep a 5 1/2 hr stretch occasionally so I'm trying to keep an eye on that...

Scares me how little I know! Never heard of mini pill or paragard. I was on the pill for years, when I went off I got yeast infections for 3 months straight. Also used to get migraines and they went away when the pill did. DH won't be into condoms and I have no idea if we are one and done. (But I'm not young anymore either...)

This decision is going to be hard!

I had extreme cramping for weeks with Mirena and had it taken out early against medical advice.

Considering the copper iud but concerned my body will also want to "reject" it like the Mirena.

fyi there's a new 3 yr IUD in Canada from the makers of Mirena called Jaydess.

Condoms for us! At my 3 weeks pp appt, my dr said that since I'm still young and we plan on having more, he wouldn't recommend any birth control besides condoms. DH isn't completely enthused about having to wear condoms, but since pulling out didn't exactly work for us, he's just going to have to deal.

I got the mini pill but can't ever remember to use it! Not too worried about getting pregnant because it took so much to get there last time, but you never know... At this point we've only DTD once though--two newborns is probably the best BC I can think of.

At three works postpartum I am still too scared to even think about DTD. Considering giving my husband an abstinence-only education.

I started taking the Nora Be mini-pill, and coincidentally my anxiety has increased dramatically. I'm not 100% positive if its the pill, or being back at work, but this is the most anxious I have been in a long time. Going to talk to my doctor Tuesday, but wondering if anyone else has had increased anxiety from this pill.

I got the nexplanon.
I originally opted for the mini pill but with 2 kids I was horrible at remembering to take it on time let alone take it at all so I decided I needed something I wouldn't have to think about.
