We haven't talked about it at all but we had a boys name picked from when I was pregnant with DD so we will probably go with that if this one is a boy - Dylan James (both family names)
For a girl we chose Allyn I've forgotten the middle name, if it's a boy Langston Alfredo Corrington
Allyn like Alan, the boy's name?
Yes like Allen it's a family name but I don't want to continue with a boy
The spelling with a y does not make it a female name. It is a boy name and people will assume, her whole life, that she is male. Start introducing yourself as Allen, leaving your name at Starbucks as Allen or waiting for a table with the name Allen. Guarantee you'll feel how silly it is for a woman. If it is a family name, use it in the MN spot and save your daughter the trouble of being a girl Allen.

Its a girl name as well it means precious or awakening. If the child doesn't like it there's Lyn as an alternative
We haven't really talked about it yet. I always thought we would use the girl name we picked out for DS if it's a girl this time, but now I'm not so sure!
I love those names! We haven't really talked too much about it. With my son he was a surprise & we had a few for each. But I did like waiting to meet him before naming him. We went with Aiden James (James after dh's dad) & for another boy I really like Austin Robert (my dad's names). I like Harper for a girl but not sure.
Eleanor Grayson Griffin for a girl Greyson Griffin George for a boy.
Eleanor for my Grandmother, George for my father and Grandfather, Griffin - my SIL and her kids' middle name, and Gra(e)yson (I know I'm in the judgement zone...) in honor of our cats - 3 are gray.
If we were having twin boys, the other name would have been Tyler Tweed (Tyler is a family name for H and Tweed after our cat who looks like she wears a tweed coat.)
We originally thought of Grayson for a girl or boy but once I found out the name was primarily a boy name, we changed. As @FrecklesInside pointed out so well - we could not saddle a girl with a boy's name. I would not have liked it, and my H said he would not have liked to be named Priscilla (which would have been his name under his family tradition...) so we are not doing something to the Rooblet we would not want done to us

My husband really likes the names Eleanor and Theodore. I think I see where he's going with this...
Lol like Alvin and the chipmunks the squeakquel
Nope. That's not the theme she was thinking of.
::face palm:: I'm a history teacher and this is causing me physical pain right now
I just thought about lol the chipmunks were the first thing that popped in my head. My little sister watched it so many times that's automatically what I think when I hear it.
We are team green and have three names picked for each sex. Won't decide until we meet him or her.
Declan Vance, Finley Alexander, or Greyson Vance
Delaney Grace, Violet Grace, or Lucy May
I love all your names! We have a very Irish last name so those were on our longer lists. Beautiful choices!
We are 90% certain we are having a boy, though we will have to confirm at our anatomy scan. And luckily, we have had our boy name picked out for ages.
John Gabriel, nn Jack. The John is for DH's deceased father, so the name has a lot of meaning for us.
If we are totally off on the sex, our girl names are Amelia and Olivia. I love Amelia and DH loves Olivia. I am also completely smitten with Charlotte, but DH hates it. *sad*

Allyn is my sisters middle name, it's pronounced Ah-Lynn but it's after my dad who is Alan. So you're right in that it's the girl version of the name Alan
I don't see how butchering the spelling of a family members name to try and alter the sex it's associated with is doing anyone any favors. Fuck being a woman named Allen. Because yeah, her name is Allen as far as anyone is considered phonetically. Maybe if the name only existed on paper and was never said aloud it could work. Unfortunately that's not the case and your daughter will be mistaken as a man whenever her name is said out loud. Ugh. That really sucks for her.
We have Dean for a boy, after H's brother who died when he was a kid and our front runners for a girl are Charlotte or Annabelle. Honestly havent thought about girls names too much!
My sons name is Everett and we keep finding ourselves saying his name along with a hypothetical boy or girl name just to see if they compliment eachother. We haven't really had anything that's stuck yet. Once we know the sex it will narrow the process down.

We haven't given it much thought. For our daughter we crammed all kinda if family names into her name (she is named after both our moms and a friend who died while I was pregnant). We have nothing left sentimental for a girl (we never thought we'd have more than one).
My own name is ambivalent as to gender so I get Mr or Mrs all the time. Amuses me.
Boy,
Greyson Fox?(husband wants middle name) or McNeese (middle is family name)
Kieren McNeese
Girl,
Oswin (Doctor Who reference but we fell in love with it when we heard it so more incidental versus actual intention to reference back to the show) Josephine (husband hates middle name) or Annette (my mother's middle name)
If we choose to have another child and get a girl,
Zoe Annette (if first daughter gets Josephine)
Evan for a boy and possibly Adalynn for a girl. No middle names yet.
I love Adalynn. My concern is we will nickname her Addy (which is cute I don't hate it) but then we will have an Addy and an Abby. That's too cutsie for me.
For a girl we are looking at Olivia Lynn or Emma Lynn or Emmaline. Love the idea of calling her "livie" though! A boy - either Harrison, Mason, or Jackson!
Re: Anyone chosen their names yet?
Girl: Arya, Lisbet, Signe, Astrid, Marit, Berit, Cecily, Solveig, Anais, Mieke
Boy: Henry, Soren, Nathan, Nils, Anders, Rune, Simon, Warren, Maxim, Faully
Allen is the family name. I wanted to have something close to his name and my middle name starts with the same letters
Greyson Griffin George for a boy.
Eleanor for my Grandmother, George for my father and Grandfather, Griffin - my SIL and her kids' middle name, and Gra(e)yson (I know I'm in the judgement zone...) in honor of our cats - 3 are gray.

Summer Lynne
Jesse Lee
For a boy we have it narrowed down to three...
Calvin James
