I went with the Boppy chair instead just in case LO's were thick as well and I heard people were having problems with that.....and boy are they! I'm almost afraid to pull it out of the box just in case we have the same problem.

DH complains that DS always cries when he holds him so he wants to give him back to me. I've said repeatedly now he wont get use to you if you don't hold him. that's how it works. you would think he would remember this from the first time around!

Pedi yesterday told me NO TV AT ALL for MiniMe until she's 2. Not even having TV on while baby is in the room!

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA crazy woman.

Eldest was allowed a little TV before she was 2 and she turned out fine. This one is going to be allowed a little TV too.

I actually tried this yesterday. Even though he has been holding his head up like a champ he had no idea what to do with sitting up and freaked out.

WTF? Umm, no. If I'm stuck on the couch with a cranky cluster-feeding newborn you can bet your ass I'll be marathoning Doctor Who, Star Trek, or something as equally entertaining to keep me from losing my damn mind.

Not just that, am I supposed to exclude MiniMe down the line when we have movie night? Original MiniMe and I watch a movie on netflix of an afternoon and have snacks sometimes, I'm not giving that up for 2 years! It's one of the only times Original MiniMe will tolerate me!

I'm all for doctors advice but I'm not convinced this lady has kids.

I'm a rock and roll kinda girl, but the "112" station I created on Pandora a few years ago is seriously one if the best stations ever. If you enjoy "90's" R&B then this is your station too.

I'm completely stuck on what to do, when i went to the ER last night for my infected c section incision i was told to come back if it gets worse. Well now it looks worse and i dont have a single person that can watch DS for me and im really against taking a 6 week old to a nasty ER with a bunch of sick people.. ugh, what to do!?

So this happened today, and it pretty much melted my heart. Nathan loves being big brother, and Dylan lights up when he plays with him. I think they are going to be inseparable. On different note, I return to work on Tuesday. On top of teaching, I found out that I will also be teaching an after school class 3x a week and be the student council moderator. DH will be stepping up his dad game for sure.

Despite the rain and storms today, I am in such a good mood! Had date night with hubby yesterday and LO slept from 9:50pm to 5:20 am then 6:30 am to 8:30 am. I normally do not get that much sleep at night, let alone in one stretch! I am back to work on Tuesday so I thrilled to have some sleep before that time! Hope you all had a good night as well!

Recovering from gallbladder surgery with an 8 week old is rough. Especially when I can't hold her for 24 hours and she just wants to comfort nurse. We could use some t&ps for a speedy recovery, SO has to go back to work on Tuesday and I start my new job next week!

I suggested DH head to his sports club this morning and I would handle the kids. He ended up declining because DS was sleeping on him and he was happy that the baby was finally sleeping on him for longer than a few minutes.
