Rant/Raves/Chart Stalks: DH has an injury that I was worried would interfere with our timing. But he is feeling better and so we started the morning off right!
GTKY: How long does it take you to get ready for the day? An unnecessarily long time. It takes me longer than most people to fully wake up in the morning and I move really slowly. From alarm to leaving the house is at least 90 minutes.

Rant/Raves/Chart Stalks: Don't really have anything today. I can definitely tell the green tea thing is working though.
GTKY: How long does it take you to get ready for the day? About an hour if I'm doing the whole hair and make up thing. That includes the bump and other website browsing time.

Rant/Raves/Chart Stalks: today starts the sexy days. I hope my cycle stays nice and short at 28 days this month like it did last month. Because if I have another long one, we're gonna be exhausted.
GTKY: How long does it take you to get ready for the day? Weekdays: I hit snooze until 7:10 and am out the door at 7:35-7:45. This includes: coffee, yogurt, juice, PNV, face wash, tooth brushing, lotion, getting dressed (lay out clothes the night before), and usually bathroom. On weekends when I laze around in my PJs on the internet drinking coffee: 3 hours.

GTKY: How long does it take you to get ready for the day? If I'm going to work it only takes me a few minutes. I shower the night before and just get up brush my hair and teeth and run out the door in workout clothes. I put my uniform on at work. If I'm home for the day its takes me about 35 mins for shower, makeup, hair.

What are you doing to get KU?: period ended and I tend to ovulate early so it's time to get those OPKs out soon. Also sex.
R/R/CS: my temps this cycle are much higher than previous cycles. So far my pre-o temps are at or above what my cover line has been in previous cycles. I guess my body was tired of doing the same 'ol thing.
GTKY: I'm sooooo sloooow in the morning. I also make myself a hot breakfast every morning so it's usually at least 90 min.

@wineandwalter - I've noticed that I'm a lot more into carbs ever since stopping BC which has led me to pack on some lbs too. It's so frustrating!

GTKY: How long does it take you to get ready for the day? I'm not a morning person at all so during the week it probably takes me between and hr-hr and a half but on the weekends I could be ready in like 20 minutes.

Rant/Raves/Chart Stalks: Can someone please look at my chart??? I normally O between CD 12-18, with CD 15 as average. On CD 16, my temp went way up as expected after O. Today, when I took my temp first thing it was a low 97.73. I waited a few minutes, while still lying down, and took it again at 98.10. The second temp is what I would expect for today, not the first, so I entered the first temp in the notes and kept the second temp. What do you think? Also, I've been bad about tracking CM this cycle.
GTKY: How long does it take you to get ready for the day? If I'm just getting myself ready, I can be ready in half an hour. If I'm getting DH up and getting DD ready, it takes at least one hour.

What are you doing to get pregnant - sitting around twiddling my thumbs waiting for AF to leave me the eff alone. And waking way too early to take my temp. Maybe I'll give DH a pep talk and get him ready for a month of sexings

GTKY - most days I'm ready to leave in 5 mins. Jump in the shower, pull my hair back, brush teeth, clothes, out the door. If I'm alone with DS it takes longer because I stop to play/get him snacks between every step. I'm extremely low maintenance and don't do make up or dry my hair. If we're going somewhere nice I shower the night before or really early so my hair can air dry and then I throw on a tiny but of make up. I'm usually ready faster than DH.
@suzysurparis FX for a short cycle.
@wineandwalter Sorry about the weight gain! It is so frustrating when you feel like you haven't done anything different or worked out more (I have experienced the same thing). Bodies suck sometimes.
@mbcgirlie14 I'm impressed on how fast you get ready for work. If only I could do the same thing then I wouldn't be late everyday.

Rant/Raves/Chart Stalks: Ugh, I thought maybe I already O this week and besides my husband was starting to feel "used" so we took a couple of days off. Then I had a temp dip this morning and was like "yes, I'll snuggle with DH for a little bit and then we will get it on." And he was totally receptive. Then I fell asleep while snuggling and dreamed about how DH and I were trying to get it on and DS woke up so we had to quit. I woke up from that dream to realize we had slept in and it was too late to have sex and now I have to wait until tonight after DS is sleeping to try and jump my hubby. Sighs. I think this just isn't my cycle.
GTKY: How long does it take you to get ready for the day? I used to be fast but it takes forever now. Partly because I have to get DS up, nurse, then get him ready for daycare. Today I got up at 6:45 and was out the door by 7:35. But I made the bed at least!

Rant/Raves/Chart Stalks: so over OPKs. Such a mindfuck. I *think* I got a positive today but it's too close to call. Then I wonder if it's only close to positive because I used FMU. I'm going to try again when I get home again at 3...not that it matters because DH hasn't been able to finish the deed since Sunday
GTKY: How long does it take you to get ready for the day? I'm quick...30 mins if I need to shower or blow dry/straighten my hair from the night before. I can get ready in 20 if I don't need to do my hair. I take the train to the city for work so have downtime to play on my phone or read.

Rant/Raves/Chart Stalks: Finally had sex last night. Hoping to continue for 3 more days. It's DH's birthday on Sunday, so I may have to give him the day off.
GTKY: How long does it take you to get ready for the day? I usually need closer to an hour and a half, because I try to meditate for 20-minutes in the morning before getting ready. Been slacking while on vacation from work, but that'll change next week!
@kelley72 and @jezebk luckily I don't have to look nice for work. No makeup, no hair do needed. I did forget to add coffee time. I get my keurig ready the night before and in the morning I make a cup and drink it on my drive to work. DH and I get DS ready together in the morning and then he takes him to the sitter because its on his way to work.

Rant/Raves/Chart Stalks: I'm in my predicted FW now so just lots of sexy time until O is confirmed. I'm sick of having sex already, I don't have much of a libido to begin with so all this extra sex is wearing me out.
GTKY: How long does it take you to get ready for the day? I take showers at night so I just have to do hair and makeup so maybe it takes me about 20 mins.

Rant/Raves/Chart Stalks: Annoyed with my temp. Last month seemed to go smoothly but this month seems all over the place. Maybe being back on the school routine will help next week because I will have a routine.
GTKY: How long does it take you to get ready for the day? I can get ready pretty quick in the morning… if I need to 20 mins. Winter months take longer because I have to dry my hair. Love the summer. I have only blow-dried my hair twice the entire summer. I don’t know how DH will feel about me getting up at the same time next week. He has gone 3 months with a bathroom to himself but maybe I can help get his ass out of bed on time

R/R/CS: First, I haven't been feeling good the past two days and actually ran fever in the evenings after work, not in the morning though. (weird) FF actually adjusted for it when I marked the fever box which surprised me. So of course I haven't been feeling up to having sex. So then, this morning I check my OPK after the alloted time and it was a clear positive. Unfortunately I had already dumped my cup and didn't have time to check again. There will definitely be sexy time happening tonight and tomorrow in hopes that we still have a chance for this month. FF puts my FW for next week, but since it's just my second cycle of BCP I know my body is still adjusting.
GTKY: It really depends on the day and what's going on. I set my alarm for 90 minutes before I leave for work. That involves hitting snooze, drinking coffee, calling mom, sitting outside with the dog, a small amount of makeup, and hair pulled up. If I'm getting dressed up I can do it in the same time, I just don't hit snooze and don't lally-gag as much.

Rant/Raves/Chart Stalks: I already asked this question in the FF Newbie Playdate post so this is more just a rant. I used the clearblue digital OPK (not the advanced) and received a smiley with FMU. Then, to be sure, I retested about half an hour later, without drinking any fluids prior, and received an empty circle. Now, I am confused as to whether I should note the positive in FF or, wait and retest in a few hours to confirm based on the majority result.
GTKY: How long does it take you to get ready for the day? About 25 minutes start to finish unless I am getting ready for something special then, maybe 35-45 minutes.

Rant/Raves/Chart Stalks: Looks like it will be a long month. CD 20 and no O yet, although OPKs are darkening so maybe in the next few days. I liked that my cycles were getting shorter and more “average”
GTKY: How long does it take you to get ready for the day? Like 30 minutes, including a shower. I am a low maintenance girl and usually put my hair in a ponytail or butterfly clip. Minimal make-up, if I wear any.
@mbcgirlie14-I wish I could shower the night before but I have thick wavy/curly hair and there is no telling what it will look like in the morning!
‘@wineandwalter-since you are working out more, could you have gained some muscle?
@beeorange-I only catch my surge once in a while, which is why I bought the monitor. As long as you ovulate, which is confirmed by temping, you can get pregnant.

@kde2010-CD 15 looks legit to me. Another day of high temps should confirm. Sometimes temps go up and then down a bit but you would have a cover line of around 97.9 or below I would guess. As long as your temps go above the cover line and don’t take dramatic dips to or below the cover line you should be fine.

Rant/Raves/Chart Stalks: I'm so grateful for a three day weekend! I have to work late-ish tonight, but still happy.
GTKY: How long does it take you to get ready for the day? Ugh, I'm so slow in the mornings. Some days I have to be at work by 5 am and on those days I prep everything the night before and still need 30 mins for coffee, breakfast, makeup, etc. On days when I start later I usually give myself 1-2 hours to get ready at a leisurely pace.

Rant/Raves/Chart Stalks: It's my first cycle temping and I feel like it's all over the place. FF tells me I'm "probably fertile" now, but estimates my O date as next Weds. Also had what I think may have been ovulation pain last night. Dull right sides pain that woke me up. WHo knows. Just going to keep temping and having sex I guess.
GTKY: How long does it take you to get ready for the day? I am a speedy girl. Shower, hair, makeup and out the door in about 40 mins. DH has been known to take longer then I!

GTKY: How long does it take you to get ready for the day? 25 minutes. I wear scrubs to work and lay out everything the night before. My hair has to be in a ponytail so that saves me tons of time. I have my makeup routine down to 5 minutes tops. Free breakfast at work so I just grab a bottle of water and go.

GTKY: How long does it take you to get ready for the day? I CAN get ready in 20 min but I like to wake up early drink my tea watch the news and slowly get ready. Usually 1-2 hours depending on how late I went to bed.

Rant/Raves/Chart Stalks: it took me so long to convince DH that we needed to start on #3 and it took all summer to get there. Last month we decided to give it a shot and DH just thinks it will happen because we have "good genetics and physical chemistry." Well it didn't happen and clearly he has no idea how important timing is. Anyway, I'm a wedding photog and for job security it's not smart to be poppin out kiddos during busy season. Hubs didn't realize that either and now after just one cycle of TTGP we are now preventing until about Jan/Feb. I am so disappointed and frustrated with DH. I may keep temping and charting so I have something to go off of for TTGP again. Anyway, I'll keep lerking and crossing my fingers for everyone!
