I hate shopping for bras. Heck, I hate WEARING a bra. I hate spending money on them. I hate trying to find one that works without issues.
I need something that does the whole support thing, but I'd like a lighter fabric for hot weather. I've tried the "side support" ones that smooth the sides and back, and they ride up too far into my pit. Ticks me off.
If you have any recs, I'd love to hear it. I'm trying to avoid going to a dept store to get "fitted" b/c I really don't want to spend $50 on a bra. Worried that's my only choice. (cuz the $10 Target ones ain't workin')
FWIW, I'm about a 38C.
Re: Let's talk bras. (esp if you're fluffy)
Hands down my fave and worth every penny:

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
I was a 38D, but since being pregnant I'm now a 42D. I like the live it up style.
honestly IMO you should go get fitted, most places will do it for free and you don't have to buy a bra just because they measured you. I am sure you already know this but your breasts change over time and with everything you have been through the past few months it would not suprise me if they have changed.
FWIW I really like Gillian O'Malley bras at Target, but I usually go and get measured at my favorite lengerie store first.
i agree about Maidenform, but when I am out of nursing bras I will be going back to victoria secrets biofit, I freaking LOVE those!!! So worth the money and if you catch them you can get buy one get one free. SO WORTH IT. The support is awesome.
you are making me my C's, I hate my DD.
I tried on swimsuits Saturday and HELLO PORNO BOOBS! HATE1

We are cheap, but I have 3 bras from Victoria's Secret! They are durable. I did spend about 48 on each over time. I got them though after Nolan was born, and still wear them almost 2 years later!
They are awesome. I am a 36-38 DD/DDD
thanks everyone. guess I have to suck it up and go quality.
I use to have great perky tittays. Worthless POS they are now ;-(
I am a fairly large chested girl 34D before pg and now it has just gotten out of control beining pg (34DD). My best suggestion to you is to have a girls day or go by yourself (I love to shop alone) and go to Nordstroms, Bloomingdales, and/or Intimates (I think that is what it's called) make an apt to have your bra measurments done and then have them fit you for a bra. I have done this a few times (love the little old ladies at Bloomies that do it) and really makes all the difference getting the "right bra" for you. You can also tell them what your price rang is and what the best bra is in that rang.
After you know your size then you can go to target (I like Gillian OMALLY) and get a few throw away ones too. I have a huge range of bras..expensive and target ones depending on what I am doing..
My other gf who is large chested swares by Intimates, they are expensive but are really good quality! HAve fun shopping!!
LO #1 - 1 unmedicated/self-monitored IUI w/ donor sperm.
LO #2 - 1 m/c, 2 BFNs, 4th IUI worked (unmedicated/self-monitored with new donor sperm).
Life is beautiful!
I'm bigger busted than you (freakin' 38DDD/F, and I haven't grown at all during pregnancy) and I usually wear the Lane Bryant balconette bras. But then, I'm a molded cup fan and get the best support and shape in those. Unfortunately, I have to buy the more expensive ones to find anything cute, generally. Boo. Although the LB ones are also sometimes buy 2, get 2.
I would definitely get fitted though. You don't need to buy anything. And it's really valuable to get that real fitting done.
