I just found a fp sit me up for seat and the piano kick and play mat on a local yard sale site. Both like new condition $30 for both. Not a super great deal but less than half price.
I bought a Boon Naked baby bathtub brand new in the box off of Craigslist for $30 (they retail for $60). BUT- the apartment we went to to buy it was very sketchy and reeked of weed. DH was grumpy about it, LOL.
I am going to a huge consignment sale at 3:00 today--should have more to AW then!
Also, I bought a Janie and Jack sweater at the Goodwill for $2!!
My cousin just decided to drop off two HUGE boxes of baby clothes. All name brand. She apparently decided not to have anymore. Baby girl has 100 plus outfits. I am set! Really wasnt a "deal" but I am pumped!
I posted this last week, but I bought 3 boxes of 0-12 month baby boy clothes for $29! I washed it all and sorted it and I'm only keeping about 30% of it, but it would have cost a lot more than $29.
I also bought LO a camo snowsuit (I couldn't resist!) for 40% off at The Gap, regular $85.
OH and I ordered our crib mattress for $20 less than it regularly is.
It's not a win for me, but I know a few people on here were looking at Britax Affinity... Sept 20-28 if you buy the stroller you get a free car seat or bassinet. FYI!
My mom is buying DD's crib this weekend. Babies r us is doing the spend 50 get x, spend 100 get y, and spend 200 get z, thing. So since she will be spending more than 200 we will be getting a free Motorolla video monitor. We were planning to upgrade to video monitor this time around so I super excited about this. Then we just need to buy the extra camera since we will be using for both DS and DD.
I plan on purchasing the mattress and extra camera seperate from my mom's purchase so we will spend over 100 and get a free baby gate which will go to my mom's house for DS and DD's room there to keep DS contained when he wakes up since DS will move the bed since DD will need the PNP.
Plus we will both have a 15% off coupon to use on one item. Overall my mom will save $75ish on the crib and get $100 free monitor. I will save $15 on the mattress or camera and get a free $50 baby gate.
I bought three brand-new "imperfect" Blueberry mini-coverall cloth diaper covers for $8 each! In brand-new "perfect" condition they're normally $16! Usually with "imperfect" diaper stuff you can't even tell what's wrong.
Baby girl N born 10/29/14!
**Follow your heart, but take your brain with you**
I got a Bumbo seat for $8, a Kate Spade diaper change pad for $6, and am Oshkosh rain jacket for $2.50 at the consignment sale! I just can't bring myself to buy a used bassinet, they just looked dirty.
@lizgrace03 Last year I scored a Janie & Jack sweater at Goodwill for $2 too! There's one Goodwill in town that has been very good to me. I go about 1x a month or so. Have found Janie & Jack in great condition, brand new with tags local pro sports team apparel for kiddo, and a few Liz Lange maternity dresses. It's a serious addition.
Also, we debated getting a 2 seater stroller, but then we came upon a HUGE deal on a Radio Flyer Ultimate Comfort Wagon for $80 at discount warehouse store! We had to spend $10 on some parts to fix a wheel, but still, we saved nearly $100. We think between our big stroller (we can use with infant carseat or with the regular stroller seat), our umbrella stiller, and love of baby wearing (Ergo & Moby), we can get by now without a double stroller. My son started riding in friend's wagons around age 1.
Children's place is having a 40% off the whole store sale this week. Plus I had a 15% off coupon, plus you got their 'cash' if you spent a certain amount. So I got $50 in their cash. The next time I spend $100 I'll only be paying $50 I will be doing Avery's shopping when the cash is valid! Woot!
I scored two books at Value Village- The No Cry Sleep Solution and The Happiest Baby Guide to Sleep- each for $4.99! I had them in my cart on Amazon for so long and so I was super happy to find them for cheap. I heart used books.
@Ashris13 it is in there weekly ad I think. We get postcards in the mail since we have a rewards card with them from when DS was born.
If you spend $50 you get a babyproofing kit ($20 value)
If you spend $100 you get a baby gate ($50 value)
If you spend $200 you get a video monitor ($100)
I think the baby monitor and gate are great give aways. If you have at least $300 dollars worth of other items you would be purchasing and are in the market for a video monitor and gate go with your husband or a friend and make two seperate purchases so you can get both.
My best sale moment so far was getting two maternity shirts at Kohl's for a total of $4.80, $2.40 each. They were on sale, I had one of those $10 coupons and there was an extra 20% discount going on. They're two of my favorite shirts, and not just because of the price
I went to two mom to mom sales last weekend, and for $100 I got so much stuff (it was 50% off day at both). An entire fall and winter wardrobe for my toddler, pair of Toms for $3, Converse for $3, a Boppy, Halloween shirts, snow pants, hats, mittens, boots...it was great.
Not really a "deal" I guess but I put on our registry that we were due 9/26 instead of 11/26. That means I already got my completion coupon for 15% off everything, plus I had another coupon for 15% off one item, a coupon for 20% off one item and a coupon for $20 off a crib mattress.
So I went today and bought everything we needed including furniture and saved over $500! Plus BRU has a deal right now that you get a free video monitor with a $200 baby purchase. So I got a free monitor out of the deal!
Now I just need the furniture to get here so I can start moving stuff from DD's room (clothes, etc) into baby's room.
Where did You get the $20 off a crib mattress coupon?
I've been on a shopping spree... -Clothes: Discovered an amazing local maternity consignment store and got about 15 things around $8 each -Swing and bouncer: Got the Fisher Price Snugabunny swing and bouncer off craigslist at 70% off...had to wash the bouncer really well because there were dogs in the house (hubby is allergic) but it's good now -Curtains: Got a 15% off Pottery Barn Kids coupon in the mail and using cardpool to get another 6% off so can finally order curtains! -Diaper bag: Got a great Kate Spade diaper bag 40% off from Tradesie! -Baby carrier: Osprey baby carrier 24% down in the last week on Amazon
The Delta Crib we've been looking for was $80 off out of the blue today on Amazon. SCORE.
We also had a 20% off coupon at Babies R Us and used that for the matching dresser.
The bedding I wanted was Caden Lane and I've been trying to talk myself out of it since it literally costs more than the crib - but they have a Labor Day sale this weekend so I splurged! So excited!
I visited a cosignment store and the woman who works there just had her son 5 mos ago and was selling all of her maternity clothes. She just so happened to be the same short size as me and I swooped up 3 pairs of jeans and 3 fall tops all for under 60$. I also got LO onsies at $1.50 a piece!!!
I went to kohls yesterday not expecting to buy anything, just tagging along with DH, and found the entire maternity section was having a huge sale, most of which was 70% off SO I got 3 or 4 shirts THEN we made a trip to goodwill (my extreme guilty pleasure) & I found ANOTHER shirt, a jacket and a pair of maternity pants...all with tags still and it was a total of $21
Mom and I went out today. Got the glider I've been eyeing on sale for $225 plus they had it in stock so no waiting for shipping! Plus mom decided to buy the Motorola video monitor it was on sale for $239 plus a $50 target gift card! Ohhh and I had an extra 20% off clearance clothing. Scored a ton of already 30% off baby clothes with extra 20% off!
Re: Shopping Brags Here!
Also, found an A&A muslin wrap at this store for $.50, SCORE!!

I also saw an Ergo at TJ Maxx today for $70. I got a used one for $40 but definitely check out TJ Maxx, Marshall's and Homegoods for deals.
