Not sure if this is true but I was told by a friend that you know you are having a girl when you feel prettier and glowing. Did anyone had that feeling and it turned out to be a girl?
@ElizabethSwann I was told that girls "steal your beauty" so if you have more acne and look worse than normal, it's definitely a girl. There are a million Old Wives' Tales on predicting the sex of your baby and a lot of them are contradictory. You already have what you are going to have. You may get an idea at the A/S if it's a boy or girl, but even that isn't 100% accurate.
I won't be planning my nursery around this or anything but I recently heard about the Ramzi Theory and with my DD and DS it was accurate. Just for fun I will probably go with that until the anatomy scan.
As PP's said though, there is no real way to be 100% sure at all until delivery day!
I have 2 boys, so we did the Shettles method this time to try for a girl. I didn't O, and we only tried the days before ovulation and not during ovulation since girl sperm swim slower but live longer. Guy sperm swim fast to get to the egg quicker, but they die faster. With my first 2, we dtd the day I ovulated and got boys. I know nothing is 100%, but I'm excited to see if it worked! Either way, I'm happy for whatever.

I had acne with DS. I do again this time too. SUCKS!
Those old wives tales are fun to think about, but completely untrue! Especially the heartbeat rule! I had all the so called signs of having a boy and I had a girl! Everyone experiences pregnancy differently some people just glow because they put on 15 pounds and took a good old nap!
OWT are so silly. When we told my MIL it was a girl she was completely shocked. I didn't have much MS (don't this time either) and 'supposedly' a girl gives you worse MS. She was completely surprised but I was like it was a 50/50 chance dude...
THIS! I have a friend who is *insisting* I am having a girl because my MS is so bad. Kate Middleton had to be hospitalized with HG and she had a boy, so obviously that's not the gold standard.
Sorry, yes, I meant ORGASM for O. Geez, sorry for the mistake. I need to brush up on my abbreviations since my last baby. And really all the methods have been debunked. If there was a sure way to have a certain gender, it would be well known. It's 50:50 chance. Only time will tell I guess.
How to tell if you're having a boy or a girl....wait until your anatomy scan or until you give birth...that's when you'll know. Everything else is just a wives tale. Totally fun and exciting to speculate based on the tales, just remember they have no bearing on the sex of your child.
We used shettles method and it's always worked for me and at least 3 couples we know! Can we all really have just had the good fortune to have had the gender we preferred multiple times??
