I think it's way too early for PSL, but I'm probably going to get one anyways just so I can unlock it at my local Starbucks. I'm so lame!
Our local Shopko has their Christmas trees out. So I think the PSL is more valid than that. I about died when I walk to their seasonal area expecting patio furniture and saw a damn prelit tree.
I know I'm forgetting others from earlier in the week, lol.
If schools are asking parents to supply tissues, cleaning products, etc., they shouldn't mandate what brand they are.
I agree on the tissues but also think parents cheap out sometimes, causing this issue. Buy what you would use at home. Kids with red, raw noses are sad.

I don't like any type of tea. Hot, sweet, green, lemon, iced. Any of it. It's like what I imagine pee in a cup tasting like and no I haven't had pee in a cup. Blah!
I'm not a coffee drinker at all. I don't like Starbucks, but DH has me obsessed with McDonalds Iced Mocha Frappe. Does Starbucks have anything that tastes like that? I'm heading to the mall play place and I wouldn't mind sipping on something like that.
I husband drinks that from McDs. He also likes the iced mocha frappe at Starbucks.

I love those things! So good. Except the last time I had one I was in the bathroom an hour later. I have no idea why.
See pumpkin beer I can do this early because it's cold, but PSL is only good hot, so I need it to be cooler than 80* out before I can thoroughly enjoy one. Today it's like 68 so I might get one before work since the AC is always blasting!

We use TP at home, I wonder if that's acceptable :P
Waiting for a pediatrician over an hour past your appointment time is unacceptable. This goes doubly for when they have you in the exam room the whole time, without toys or books and with a sick baby and stir crazy toddler.
Pharmacies should never run out of syringes. I had to look up conversions to figure out how to give the baby her amoxicillin dose using the only kind of syringe dropper they had left.
I feel safer living in a community where most homes have guns (mostly military,) than I would living in a gun-free community. I trust our neighbors, and I feel like nobody on our street will ever get robbed.

This was ultimately what made me switch pedis. Their hours sucked and then after I'd arrange to leave work early or go in late, they'd make us wait so long past our appointment time. It's a business, people, try to stick to the times.
I used this on A'15 too, but I don't like Led Zeppelin. I find their music annoying.
Me too!! This drives H crazy. Every. time. we hear. a LZ song he feels like he needs to debate me/change my mind about why I don't like them. I just don't, Man!

Yeah I'm considering it very seriously after today. Appointment was at 9:45, and the doctor came in after 11. I've been really happy with all three doctors at the practice, and their location just got more convenient, but I just can't see going through wait times like that again.

Did they have a reason? It would annoy me too. Maybe something serious came up?

IMO emergencies should be conveyed to patients who are waiting, so they can decide if they want to wait it out or not, and non-emergency delays should be built in to appointment timing. Frankly, I think a lot of medical offices are too damn lazy to learn appropriate appointment timing practices or are too squeezed financially to implement them. Or a combination. Like you don't schedule hours' worth of back-to-back appointments--you schedule a couple "catch-up" periods in there. Or is this rocket science?
Most pumpkin stuff isn't really "pumpkin" but pumpkin pie spices. Like the PSL. Not squash. Spices. Get over the "ick pumpkin" thing and try it if the squash connection bothers you.

I used to work reception for 2 doctors, both of whim set their own equally effed up schedules. We had an outline we had to follow for each-- that made perfect sense to them and only them. They would also randomly add people in, seemingly with their eyes closed because they never paid an ounce of attention to the schedule before doing so. Like, they would add in their tennis partners wife for a laser procedure (an hour +) right in between a new patient (which takes longer than an established) and a surgery schedule (also takes forever) and then bitch when they got backed up, because each appt was scheduled 15 min apart. So it's definitely not rocket science, but apparently a tough concept to someone whose brain is full of doctor stuff sometimes
I have no idea if most, half, or a few people in our neighborhood have guns. I only assume plenty do because we live in gun lovin TN. It doesn't do anything for me as far as how safe I feel. I feel safe because we live in a low crime neighborhood with close knit neighbors and many people at home during the day.

I agree, I can't even begin to imagine if our neighbors have guns or not. I realize living on base or in military areas you can have a better idea. I feel safe just because of my neighbors, but the gun aspect hasn't occurred to me.

Pumpkin beer is my favorite.
I love fall.
STUCK
Very true...I think I am "anti spice" with all hot drinks hence my fright of PSL, dislike for Chai, and not really a fan of cider with cinnamon.
I know my next door neighbor has a lot of guns. Automatic ones too. That scares me. My mom's husband came home to a bullet hole through his garage door, through a few other walls, and then through his daughters head board. Because his neighbor was cleaning his gun and it went off. Which means it went through his walls first and then across the street. Scary!

I feel good knowing three of my neighbors have guns and have gone through training. Id like to get a couple and go through training with DH. My neighborhood is sorta ehhhhh.
I had a potential customer fly in to IN from Cali. He could not believe a couple of our guys concealed carried to dinner (he only knew bc he asked). He said it was barbaric and aggressively quizzed them with bullshit rude questions. Eta: have you seen the murder rate in Indy lately? It's bad.
Fast forward to last night. We're at a dinner in Texas, 22 Texans with our group. He asked the same question. 20 were carrying, including six women. The dude but his tongue that time. Wise decision man purse dude.

This hurts me. I love Zeppelin. You don't even like Thank You?! That's one of my favorite songs ever. I want you to love them like I do! Btw, someone told me that hated all of Britney Spears songs the other day and I totally thought they were lying.

Is that his go to conversation at business dinners? I have been to plenty and have never had guns come up, lol.

:-O Say it isn't so? I love almost anything pumpkin so there's that but the PSL is awesome!
