OP It appears that your true colors are shining through. The funny thing about apologies is that if you truly mean them, then you won't be so defensive. I call BS on your apology, so it really means nothing. I said that time would tell and fortunately we didn't have to wait very long to see the kind of person you are. It's really not that difficult to "fit in" here, you just have to not be a massive twat waffle.

As an early childhood educator and a huge advocate for early literacy, I would highly suggest that you start reading to your little one as soon as possible. Encourage lots of reading for your daughter and step daughter too. They will not only grow up loving literature, but it'll do wonders for their grammar and spelling. They will fall completely in love with the beautiful English language. This advice is honestly coming from a good place. English is not my first language at all. In fact my country of birth has 11 official languages. My parents just encouraged me to read so much that I fell in love with the English language. It truly is beautiful once you appreciate it.

It sounds like you are blaming the ex for his cheating. Like you know how women are those temptress whores... When really she isn't a succubus or siren who used magic to coax your husband. When people blame women for cheating men, it really irks me because men are just as at fault.

That is what your post SOUNDED like based on your wording and you say you guys are good so whatever. Just be careful because you perpetuate the stereotype that women are slutty temptresses and men have no choice but to fall to their ways.

It's far from slang; you legitimately either use the incorrect form of multiple words, or use the wrong word entirely. That's not slang.

Okay let me clarify .... She was no where to be found until we got married. And then she would just show up where he was at. I'm NOT saying women are whores or any thing like that. I was more on the lines of, sometimes women don't know what they had till they see it with someone else. That's all.

Then that's not the beginning of your relationship. Relationship is all inclusive of dating. That means that you both dated, got engaged, got married, and THEN *he* cheated on you.

This whole process would be a lot easier if you understood that words have meanings. And when you use the wrong words, you end up meaning something else entirely.
