This all seems like venting to me. The poor girl just said she found out four days ago, hasn't even been to the doctor the first time, doesn't know what's happening to her body, and I for one am high risk and I search the internet and can find all kinds of horrific answers to simple questions. So to state it simply. If you've done the lifting before it should be safe. If it feels like it's weighting you down or pulling on your back DONT lift it. Everyone's weight threshold is different. There are MANY MANY young mothers that mess their backs up during their pregnancy by not taking it easy. It MAY not hurt your child but it will hurt you. So don't listen to people who are insensitive because they've already been through it. You care enough to be worried and that's more than I can say for MANY a pregnant woman.
You all are so mean... She just asked a simple question and I don't think it's a must for you to reply.. If you feel her question is so ridiculous then ignore it; it's not compulsory for you to drop a comment.. Talking abt google, if the internet answers all question then I wonder why u all are on this site in the first place... Mrs too know all...
Huh??? I get the general sense that you think we are mean and that you want to WK all over the place and tell the people of this community how things should be...but I can't be sure because of all of the errors. If my guess is correct, gee person I don't know and who hasn't contributed to our community, thanks for telling us how to act, I'll take that to heart.
Well if OP is that worried, she should call her doctor. Most doctors have a nurseline and she can just you know, ask a nurse. I know it's a revolutionary thought.
You're not wrong for asking and wanting to be cautious. I think a lot of women are here are being a bit insensitive about certain questions. Don't mind them. Ask all the questions you want. That's why we have The Bump.
I work in the medical field and as for now I don't really have any weight restrictions. Obvi don't pick up the 400 lb man off the floor. My son in 35 lbs and I am just fine picking him up. It's all about knowing what your body can tolerate and what it can't.

Yes ask all the questions you want.... But don't be surprised when you get snarky, straightforward answers to dumb questions. Just sayin..
This thread made me LOL because when I get home with groceries I purposely carry in as many bags as possible at once to avoid making 5 trips to my car if DH isn't home to help!
Everyone please stop being rude and please dnt make her feel humiliated...she is expecting...Nothing is wrong for a new mom to ask any kind of question...give kind answer or just ignore it

Wow guise, 3 WKs!!!
Fuck you bitch!
This is a public internet forum and you can not dictate how people respond to your questions. I'm sorry you didn't get the response you were looking for, but by cussing and name calling you are no better. Just as they could ignore your question, you could ignore their responses. If you continue to violate the TOU, you can be banned. Just a thought.
Perhaps one of the most interesting words in the English language is the word FUCK. Out of all the English words that start with the letter "F", Fuck is the only one referred to as "The F word".
Everyone on here is so rude, I ask silly questions all the time it's maternal instinct to worry about everything that could possibly harm your growing angel. Google is never always right either so maybe she thought asking other pregnant women would be the best way to find out take it as a compliment that she would rather your opinions to any unsure google search. Silly questions are a natural thing for first time mothers and she shouldn't have these nasty reactions over it. And also who ever said they were lifting cat litter is not considerate of their baby's well being whatsoever seeings as that is a BIG NO NO to be near cat litter while pregnant so look at yourself before pointing fingers. Shocked at how disappointed I was looking at this as my first discussion and seeing bullying. Grow up ladies

Do you know how to read? Are you being intentionally dense? It has been well established in this very post that cat litter itself poses zero risk. Cat feces does.

Re: Lifting heavy things while pregnant
There are too many perfect women on this board for us to know which one you're addressing.
No, bitch. She was calling me. *preens*
I am not violating TOU because I'm calling you a bitch in a loving, friend kind of way. Smooches!
Wow guise, 3 WKs!!!
