As you all know, I am incapable of backing down from a fight B-)
She did actually apologize though so now it's happily ever after
Agreed. She put it wisely that it's too early to make enemies. And she's right. I'll just be sure not to mention around her that I plan on putting soda in my babies bottle. Anyone?? Anyone??
I read that thread. I cant even with that shit. Why would you thank another woman for BF? Why should BF moms feel bad for FF moms?
Actually, I had moments while BF that I did feel bad for FF moms. Like when I was out with a FF mom friend, and she had to have all the supplies, bottle, etc to feed her baby, and I could just keep my kid in the ergo and nurse there. BF seemed so much easier.
But I also had moments of feeling sorry for myself when I was a BF. Like when I had to wash the pump bottle and parts and DC bottles and thought about how much easier it would be to FF.
I hate that a woman is making other women feel degraded because they did what was best for their family and for their baby.
DH is out with some guys from his old job. G is sleeping peacefully(fell asleep with his eyes open.creepy). I'm sitting down with a bowl of curry and watching Mad Men. mmmmmmm Don Draper :P
My Scarlett dropped a 3# hand weight on my foot tonight and I'm pretty sure at least one of my toes are broken. I bawled like a baby abd she felt super bad but holy moly!
My husband is so sweet. Our neighbors are elderly and technically un savvy. Joel does all of their computer and cable set up and troubleshooting. He's on the phone with our neighbor trying to fix her email. :x
Took the nurse line almost an hour to get back to me. First she said take her straight to er. Then said we could wait a little while and just go into peds. Poor baby needed her blood drawn felt like it took forever. Waiting on results and have an epipen waiting for us at the pharmacy. They called me at 7 to say they would get us one after doc said she was too small for it during her appt.
Sorry I cannot match their long detailed lists. But I am thinking of those with challenging days due to violence, illness, or tempremental lo's. Impressed at the early risers, sorry for the flat tires.
@Clyde013 Be good to yourself---of course you weren't at the top of your game--Sick. Tired. New prep. Next session will be better. And all teachers have btdt.
A is feeling better, thankfully. First day done but exhausted. The treadmill has launched. Ugh.
I have been keeping up and love titting, but mobile is hard to keep up comment wise. I need to get my computer issues resolved so I can bump and notepad
Why does LO insist on alligator death rolls every time I change her? Why must she scream bloody murder? It is the same every time - she knows the routine. Good lord. And, LO, it goes much faster when you don't fight me!
@WanderingA congrats! Little boy love is awesome. @Silv3rlining I'm glad dh is ok - I've missed all the news thanks to weather, but I'm sure it was scary. Hugs to you! @J134EVA hugs to you too! @blairwitch I'm sorry. Boo for allergies. @Muirmaid sorry things aren't well organized and designed in a way that you are more comfortable. @???- @Clyde013 (I knew it was a C and 13) I'm sorry you are sick for lectures today. And sorry I'm blanking on SN to tag you. I'll edit when I stop drawing a big fat blank. *insomnia +3kids+4pets+dh gone=not much brain power left* @casey78 - how are you feeling? All those moving - good luck! All those sick - feel better! All those tired - may the sand man visit everyone in your house at the same time. @mermomo5 I'm sorry. I am so glad your dh's training came in handy. If you need to, seek out a friendly ear - here or a pro - it was a scary, life altering incident and I wish I could hug you. I hope your next pool venture is more successful than this week's attempt. *hugs* @Stacey099 I'm sorry. Hope the night gets better. @gutsymama - how is Lucas doing? I've been thinking about you guys and praying the new team continues to bring positive things your way. @Encchanted in case you pop in, much love and hugs. Feel better and hope your LO is keeping your dad busy. @thegoodpotato hi @somerandomchick I'm glad you said something. I went over to lurk and was ready to. The original image thing didn't bother me as much, but then everything she said from there was abrasive (edit)/too much. I'll have to catch up on the rest of it. I am so glad I have been able to EBF and I believe in the ideal world, it is best, but it isn't an ideal world and the only bad moms are the ones that don't feed their babies at all.
Why does TB assume I want an ' in moms every time I type it. So annoying.
Ok, that's what I got from memory. I got to get back to cleaning. DH is gone this week and I'm determined to get some order in this chaos. And have fun. A tall order! So far school supplies are all bought. On laundry load 4 or 5. Groceries bought and put away. Garbage taken out. 1 of 3 kids asleep and 3 of 3 in jammies.

Every damn time. I cant even lay her down without her freaking out. So that made the clinic today extra fun.
I saw a meme ...somewhere... that said either changing a toddlers diaper or clothes is like putting skinny jeans on an alligator in a death roll.
Question: I will gladly pay $5.99 for. When teething what kind of running nose to they have? is it just clear snot or sick snot? I am trying to find out if DD is sick or possibly teething? Her raccoon hands won't let me near her mouth to check inside.
also I think it was you @eaglewife that recommended the automatic snot sucker. I got one and read the directions on use but I don't think I am doing it right. Any tips? Though it was a hit with DD. She loved the music so I could change her with her fighting. I think a musical toy is what is needed for diaper changes.
And my mother is nuts. She thinks I should start putting DD on the toilet to start to potty train her.
@Kitten80 thanks for asking! He's doing really well, actually, and we haven't even spoken to the new GI about dietary changes yet! I don't know if it's a coincidence, but since starting the vitamin D he clearly feels fantastic, has been a lot less clingy and has been sleeping better most nights (not STTN, but if his 3-4am yogurt is the first wakeup instead of needing to be held all night, I'll take it.). We haven't had a vomit since he reacted poorly to the iron, and I've been putting some banana-PB smoothie through his button and that seems to be helping with his poop, so all around things are pretty great
They just set up our next appt for this Friday morning, so we'll talk about the results of the swallow study & upper GI then, and also talk about adjusting his diet. (Although I think he's gained a little this week anyway!) I'm still incredibly happy with them, and soooo glad we switched.

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.

Pretty sure I already do that. I'll keep my $5.99.
