I feel bad for my coworker @anr02 her miscarriage isn't even a year out. It was her second last year and then that? Ugh. I just hope VP thinks before she speaks next time she is face to face with the topic of miscarriage.
@sparkymcgee - Thank you for saying something in that situation. What an absolutely horrible thing for your VP to say and even more horrible that your coworker had to hear it.
F15 Siggy Challenge: What You're Looking Forward to Most After Baby Arrives: BELLY SLEEPING!
Morning ladies! Just stopping in while Si uses my boobs to keep catching up on his sleep from yesterday. I wish I could meet some Seattle Bumpies while I'm here, but we are headed to Cannon Beach on the Oregon coast for some relaxation! I'll still be popping in cuz nap jail is still a thing even on vacation. (

@silv3rlining - How very, very scary...I am so glad that he's okay!! That is one of my biggest fears...being stuck away from my loved ones as something like that happens. I'm sorry you and him had to go through that.
F15 Siggy Challenge: What You're Looking Forward to Most After Baby Arrives: BELLY SLEEPING!
First log in this morning.... Four pages!?! You guys talk too much!
I think Amanda is going to walk soon. She finally figured out her walker, and has taken a hesitant step or two on her own so far. I'm really excited for this; she'll be able to keep up with Marnie!
@cfreymc You're now closer to me than the Seattle bumpies I'm sure you totally feel like visiting Salem
I'd totally love to hang with you! Unfortunately sneaking away from the family for a day is not really an option.

Also,@Pink724 and @ramy3695 I want in on the ATL gtg if you'll have me
I leave for a work trip tomorrow. I'll be gone until Saturday. I am happy and sad about this. I will miss my little stinker, but I'm excited to spend some time with DH when I'm not working.
Sorry to have been MIA lately, we went to Lake Tahoe last week. It was so nice to be totally unplugged and spend several days as a family! We played on the beach and at the pool, DS1 played putt-putt golf for the first time (He keeps calling it "pet-pet golf" hehe), ate ice cream, and listened to live music by a little local band on the beach one evening. I'm not ready for summer to be over! But I'm looking forward to a somewhat low-key September, no work trips or vacations, and just staying put.
@simone711 I'm a but better today, thanks for asking. My voice is scratchy but there and Motrin is helping my fever. I'm doing all 3 lectures today although I will shorten all of them. Especially the night one.
This is a painfully boring question about car seat installation.
We don't have a car, so we only use our seat when we rent one for a road trip. It's a convertible seat - I think Graco 65 something or other. Anyway, we do the tether anchor thing and rear-face. We tighten as much as possible. If I smack the back of the seat, it tips way up. That doesn't seem right - is it?

Yes. That's how they respond in a crash.
Also, check your manual, but our Graco MySize70 is not tethered in RF.
Ours has two sets of tethers - one for RF and one for FF. I watched a video called "Graco My Ride 65 Convertible Car Seat Installation Rear-Facing Using a LATCH" which was posted by "gracobaby" so I assume I'm doing it right. I hope so. Is yours seat belt only or how does it work? I had no idea it was supposed to tip up in a crash - it should say that somewhere.
Re: Have a Spamtastic Monday!
Okay, too excited to sit down for long but I had to get that one out. Now I will go through and read everyone's posts!

@sparkymcgeee, your VP is a giant B. What a terrible thing to say. I'm sorry you work with such a peach. :-q
@lizabethann06, Poo-dough? Seriously? Soooo gross. Also, poor little Brynn. Baby nightmares are the worst.
Yay for a little boy @WanderingA!
