DH bought me a new phone yesterday. I'm super excited about it so all I want to do is play on it today!

We are leaving for vacation on Saturday morning super early so I won't be around here from then until Sept 1st.

I'm pretty stabby about some so called "friends" I have. They like to give excuses of why they haven't been talking to me yet they are Facebook all the time talking to others, makes me laugh kind of.

Other than that, I love seeing more of us with the positive pregnancy tests. My ovaries are screaming. DH is getting a talking to tonight!!

My DD is obsessed right now with a show called Bo on the Go. Omgosh that show is so annoying and its the only thing she wants to watch. Totally going to be the death of me!

We are in teething hell, she has 8 teeth and im pretty sure her molars are coming in. They are the worst ones yet, shes sticking her finger all the way back in her mouth which makes her gag. Shes got abit of the diarrhea for a few days now, waking up a night screaming. Fun Fun... and i started back to work yesterday so no sleep and work is just great!

Last night was hell. I woke up throwing up and DH woke up with diarrhea and we are not sure what is going on. I am guessing food poisoning? We had salmon with TJ's balsamic glaze, broccoli, and corn on the cob. Max seems fine, but he refused to eat any of that. Still feeling sick trying to stay awake at work....

@PinkDahLia44 - congratulations!!! Yay! More squishies. I'm not ready for that yet - I've just started weaning D and I think I want a bit more time with just him. BUT, he's growing up so fast, it makes me sad. We had our first haircut, first steps, and first day of daycare all in the last 4 days!!

That sucks, Im sorry. I lost a tiny one in mine and the jeweler replaced it free. Maybe the same could happen since it was obviously not set in tight enough?

Friends of my IL's gave DH an amazing deal on the setting. He used an heirloom stone for the main diamond. The friends live in NYC and I really don't want to have to send my ring away. There is a very highly rated jeweler across the stree form work so I'm going to stop in there this after noon to get an estimate on the repair. I also would like them to checl the other stones to be sure they are in there nice and tight.

I'm so sad about my lost stone.

@lynnyloo‌ , we are guessing April. We don't know bc I wasn't trying to get KU, so I wasn't paying attention, but we think I am 6 weeks. Won't know for sure until my OB does a dating US, but she's currently booked through October, so who knows when that will be.

My kid is crawling and getting into everything, I have had zero time to babyproof our temp space so im a wee bit stressed.

There are less than 8 weeks til A's first birthday and I have conflicting feelings about it.

I am in a glass case of emotion. Cam has had a high fever since Sunday morning and this morning at 2am it maxed out at 104.2. He has basically no other symptoms other than the fever, so there's nothing I can do but give him tylenol and motrin. He was so miserable last night and it was awful...

We have a large office space that we share with two other offices. One of the other offices has a GA who just cant get my name right. I've pronounced it for her a couple times, I've spelled it out for her, I've emailed her and she still fucks it up royally. It's not that hard!

@sleepy33 not to freak you out, but DD didn't really have any symptoms and was diagnosed with an ear infection. Maybe just get him checked out just in case? A fever like that would concern me.

I took him yesterday afternoon, and the on-call doc last night told me to bring him in today, so we went in again this morning. His ears are perfect, lungs are clear. Throat was a little red, rapid strep was negative. The LPN today said she would bet money it's HFM, and she thinks the fever will break and he'll get a rash within the next 24 hours. If not, we'll go back in for blood draw/urine test/other not fun stuff. He's eating and drinking well, and acts cranky/tired but mostly ok during the day.

UTI maybe??

I think that's one of the things they will rule out if the fever doesn't break by tomorrow. That or some other bacterial infection that has basically no other outward symptoms (of which I can't think of any off the top of my head).

This has happened twice with DD and it was so scary. She had no other symptoms. There is something about seeing 104 on the thermometer that freaks me out, even though it's so common with babies. The first time she went through a blood test and urine/catheterization and it turned out to be a virus. The second time we held off a little while, but when the fever didn't go away, she got tested again and it was a UTI. I hope Cam feels better soon.

Ds1 used to get high fevers ALL.THE.TIME and it sucks. Good luck!!!!

I know, right, so scary! He's never had a fever higher than 100 before this. Last night was the worst by far, he was all trembly and I kept thinking he was going to have a seizure. But he was alert and drinking a bottle/sippy of water, so I just kept telling myself it would be all right. H just texted that he took a 2 hour nap and temp was down to 100, so FX it stays down.
