Mild annoying vent. So I won a shirt for dd in an Instagram giveaway. 5 weeks later I message the shop owner and she doesn't respond so a few days later I comment on a picture telling her I never got it and wondering if she sent it. She responds saying she forgot but will send me it. I finally get it Saturday but I get 2 packages and one was not meant for me. So I let her know because someone clearly won be getting the order they paid for. So she asks me if I can mail it to the rightful owner and paypals me $5 to send it. I tell her I will but am not sure when I am going to get to it although I would try to do it by the end of the week. Dd has been feeling poorly and it's been raining and I didn't want to drag her out. So she sends me another message asking me to let her know when I get it done yesterday. And then another today. If she had bothered to check the labels she printed before mailing them this all could have been avoided.

I am in a glass case of emotion. Cam has had a high fever since Sunday morning and this morning at 2am it maxed out at 104.2. He has basically no other symptoms other than the fever, so there's nothing I can do but give him tylenol and motrin. He was so miserable last night and it was awful...

I'm not sure if you've gone to the doc, but that was our only symptom (plus some fussiness that went along w/ the fever) when Milo had an ear infection. 

GAH Ignore me... read the comments before posting sweettooth.Jeeez. 

Also.... I hope Cam feels better soon. It's the worst when they don't feel better and you can't really do much to help them .

@sleepy33 not to freak you out, but DD didn't really have any symptoms and was diagnosed with an ear infection.  Maybe just get him checked out just in case?  A fever like that would concern me.

I took him yesterday afternoon, and the on-call doc last night told me to bring him in today, so we went in again this morning. His ears are perfect, lungs are clear. Throat was a little red, rapid strep was negative. The LPN today said she would bet money it's HFM, and she thinks the fever will break and he'll get a rash within the next 24 hours. If not, we'll go back in for blood draw/urine test/other not fun stuff. He's eating and drinking well, and acts cranky/tired but mostly ok during the day.

is he ssssssuppppppperrrr cranky? when my LO had HFM she was melting and just whimpered like a little puppy.  I thought it was just teething (and she as at the time) but she had gotten a rash in the back of her throat, too.  I felt awful!  All we could do was give her Tylenol around the clock.. the first few days sucked but then it wasn't bad...either way, I hope he feels better! poor guy!

Meh, not really @carawasa. He's in a reasonably good mood, just pretty lethargic. Except when his temp spikes every night while he sleeps, then he wakes up miserable. Doc said his throat was a little red, but no blisters. He's been eating and drinking pretty well.
