I was right with my son DEFINITELY all boy! However, with dd I was 100% sure it was another boy. Pregnancies were VERY similar up until the second trimester. Baby number three I think is another "boy" but I feel more like I did with pregnancy #1. DH "knows" it's a girl! We'll see!
H has decided that it's a boy and I'm not telling him otherwise unless we know for sure. I would like a girl because they have much cuter clothes and things but a boy would nice as a first child.
I've been feeling like this baby is a girl, that's all I can picture. I don't know if it's because i already have a daughter, but I just picture her with a sister and not a brother. We'll just have to wait and see, although DH is praying for a boy!
My mom and I are positive it's going to be a boy, My dad and husband are positive it's a girl.
If I'm being honest with myself, I've always wanted a girl and DH wants a boy (we're so cliche), so I think we're honestly just planning for the opposite so we won't be disappointed.
I feel so guilty admitting that. I love you little bean, whatever you are, I promise.
ETA: My main concern with having a boy is that DH was a wild child growing up and his poor mother had to take him to the hospital numerous times for ridiculous stints. I think I would need Prozac.
Last time I KNEW I was having a girl, but DS showed me that clearly I was 100% wrong. This time, I am just going to patiently wait and see. I am obviously not good at the guessing game.
Funny story about the topic of 'just knowing' a baby is either sex:
My mother was 1000% convinced I was a boy. If you ask her why, she'll rattle off a long list of 'signs' that I was. My parents even opted out of a gender u/s because they were so certain. Then I was born. They were so shocked and unprepared that for 24 hours I didn't have a name. I spent the first year of my life in a blue nursery and wearing boy's clothes.
I had a very realistic dream that I had a baby boy just days before I saw the BFP. It was actually one of the things that prompted me to take the test - I didn't think I could get pregnant but frequently have dreamed about friends being pregnant before I was told. Coincidence most likely. We really just want a baby that has fewer whiskers than my husband (we have 4 girl cats and want more!) My side of the family is all girls - and there are two little boys on my husbands side - so a little boy for us might be nice. My nieces on both sides are hoping we have a girl - in the words of the 6 year old - "I already have a little brother that lives at my house I DO NOT want another brother at your house." The twelve year old is ok with us even having a kid but only if it is a girl.
With DD I KNEW she was a girl! Even before I knew I was pregnant I just knew I was going to be pregnant with a girl soon. After I found out, I bought a few girly things before even being told by the u/s tech that she was indeed a girl. This time I feel almost as certain that this is a boy. Before I got pregnant I got into looking at baby boy clothes, and even purchased a few outfits. A couple weeks later I found out I am pregnant. Everyone else is convinced it is a boy, too. I am sort of hoping we are right, but if it does turn out to be another girl I will be just as happy. A bit surprised, but still happy. And this pregnancy is different than with my DD. We shall see in a couple months!
I just feel like I'm having a girl. It's weird. I can't explain it, but it never really crosses my mind that this baby could be a boy. My husband even says "her." So weird, just wondering if anybody else has this!
This happened to me last time... totally thought I was having a girl.... I had a boy.
I posted on the first page of this thread that I'd been using feminine pronouns. But in the last week I have had two dreams about the prawn, and they were just the sweetest dreams I've ever had in my life. And in both, he was a boy. So my pronoun usage has changed, though there is still the potential for either a boy or a girl in there. But my current hunch (until something changes) is boy now.
My DH has 3 nieces and two sisters...everyone is hoping for a boy. Before we found out we were pregnant, my best girl friend dreamed I was going to have a baby girl. My dream was that it was a boy.
The Chinese calendar says it would be a boy. Maybe too much to share, but they also say if you hit the bit o during conception, then the likelihood of a boy is higher because male sperm chemically react. I could be completely wrong though.
I may or may not have bought boy clothes already...but I am the first of my friends to have a baby, so it will be great gifts if this is a girl. I am excite for either. A girl I can do girly things with or a boy to stomp out the girl trend on the other side.
Because this will be my 5th birth I know how my pregnancies are for boys and girls. With my boys I was sick, with my girls I was not. I feel this is another girl, no sickness here. We'll see once I get my genetic testing done on the 27th. .
With DS I had a feeling it was a boy, even though I was secretly hoping for a girl. This pregnancy has been pretty different so far - much more nausea, ugh. I craved all the fruit, sweet cereal, cake and ice cream with my first. This time I am craving all the salty food, meat and pasta. I don't remember cravings starting this early!
I have a feeling it is another boy - but I think that's just because I know what to expect with a boy and I picture our family as having 2 little boys. I will be happy if it's a boy or a girl, obviously! We are team green this time around though, so we won't find out until my RCS!!
Last time I was convinced I was having a boy, then DD came out. So this time i refuse to take a guess. I'll probably end up having to do the maternit21 because of my age anyways, so the plus is that I'll know for sure in a couple weeks.
We both keep referring to it as a girl. And all the names I seem to like are girl names so if we have a boy it will probably end up with a girl name j/k.
I think boy More thinks girl. We have a boy name. I would love a boyi am a little pinked out after 2 girls. Plus side would be we wouldn't need anything.
I love that there's a healthy mix between mamas that swore up and down they knew what their baby was going to be and were right, and some mamas that swore they knew the sex of their babies and were wrong. It just makes it that much more exciting in my opinion. I have a strong feeling ours is a boy and we both want a boy but will obviously love whatever this little gummy bear turns out to be. I just love that it's a 50/50 chance and the excitement is building and can't wait to find out for sure! Hope everyone is having a great day

All dreams I had of DD was of a boy, so you never know. It could be opposite.
Re: Strong feeling about gender
Either way I'll find out in a few months!

Baby #2!
recently I started feeling like the baby is a girl, but early in the pregnancy I referred to the baby as "him/he" so we will see!
