I got bad news today. I went for my mid cycle U/S and labs, and I was sure my ovaries had responded based on the way they have been hurting the last few days. They hurt like this on my first cycle of Clomid that I responded well to. But my follicles haven't done a thing. None of them are bigger than 5mm, so nowhere even close to being ready. Good new is my lining was good, at like 8.2 or something. But that doesn't matter now.
So, I don't know what is gonna happen now. I hope that is possible to add injectables in to try to salvage this cycle. But I don't know what they want to do yet. I am waiting on the call from the nurse, which they don't call until after labs come back in the afternoon. This is the first time I actually broke down crying IN the office. I hate this whole process. I also have decided I'm ordering pizza for lunch, and IDGAF if I eat the whole thing!

Testing Completed! HSG Clear, Ovarian Reserve score 17, Elevated Testosterone, everything else normal so far
@BananaPancakes02 You go eat that pizza! FX they'll give you a salvage plan to get this cycle going!
@Emma61210 Sorry to hear your IUI is cancelled. Cancellations suck, I've been there, Hugs!
Good luck to those in the 2WW. Fx for BFPs all around!!
And to my girls still stuck in a break cycle with me, FX we can all get to our next cycle quick - or NOT because we get surprise BFPs - I'm in an uncharacteristically really optimistic mood today and want to share it with you
With the nasty twinges of pain I've been having today and a bit late yesterday, I think it's safe to call today Ovulation Day (CD 22)! At least it hasn't been knock-me-over-can-barely-walk-it-hurts-soo-bad type pains which I get some cycles makes me a bit worried about injects next cycle! I was doing OPKs but ran out on Tuesday evening and had no opportunity to pick up more yesterday working a 12 hour shift! The one on Tuesday evening was just a shade shy of being +. TI only this cycle since we're still on a break. We should be starting our IUI cycle in approximately 2 weeks (a little less since my LP is usually a bit on the short side :P )
QOTW: I know it's cheating, but since I'm not the biggest movie fan (you'd think otherwise seeing my DH's MASSIVE DVD collection lol) I'd probably pick TV box sets. I'd go with Grey's Anatomy, Supernatural, and Smallville

Well, apparently the ultrasound tech scared me pre-emptively by saying "You are not going to ovulate this month". The nurse called me and told me its still early, I was only CD11 on Thursday. So things may take longer than they did with the Clomid. So I have to keep OPKing it up, and if no positives, I'm going in Monday morning. I was completely shocked at the nurse telling me the fat lady hadn't sung yet that I forgot to ask her about adding injectables, but I guess there is a chance it may be unnecessary, so I'll let it go for now. But, I am so pissed at that ultrasound tech. She was wayyyy too effing smiley for me. She was not my usual U/S tech, who I know would have handled this situation much better. I really hope she was just filling in for the day, and won't be there all the time now.

@BananaPancakes02 I'm surprised the tech even said anything. At my clinic they can't tell you anything about what they see on your scan, since they are not allowed to (and I would assume that is the case pretty much anywhere). The only time I've heard any of them mention what was on the scan was when they were explaining what they were seeing to a student tech.

@AnnaClaire256 I had my first IUI on Monday and had a very similar experience. Everybody said its a breeze and totally painless. Although I didn't bleed, I did find it a little painful. Ii also had cramps for 2 days after. I was also super stressed bc my Hs numbers were awful.

I caved to peer pressure from DH and my BFF to POAS yesterday morning and got a BFN. So we're on to IUI #3.
Quick question...have any of you experienced shorter than normal cycles on Clomid + Ovidrel? I was pretty steady at 28 days prior to the two IUI cycles I just completed. Last month AF arrived on day 26 (the day after I POAS) and this month AF arrived the same day I POAS, which was day 25. WTF body?? I wrote to my RE a bout it but they're all out of the office for the weekend so I thought I'd see if anyone else has experienced this. Both cycles have basically had a 12 day luteal phase assuming I ovulated the day of the IUI.
IVF#1 (w/ICSI): BCP 9/9-9/23. Gonal-F, Ganirelix, Low-dose HCG (antagonist protocol). 41R/35M/32F... 2 transferred on 10/14, 14 frosties! On cabergoline to help avoid OHSS. BFN, possibly because of 90% drop in estrogen and progesterone a few days after ET.
FET#1: Transferring 2 on January 8. BFP! beta#1 (1/17): 408, beta#2 (1/20): 1310, first u/s scheduled 2/5
Sorry I can't offer useful advice. I determined I have low progesterone post-ovulation so my RE put me on prometrium during my first medicated cycle.
I think there's something to this! My cycles had been 28 days like clockwork for 4 months and the one month I caved and tested early I started on CD24.
It may not be science...but I'm starting to believe it. Maybe there's something with the stress we put on ourselves about whether or not AF is on her way...once we know it's inevitable, our body just let's it happen?

Totally agree that the stick did it!! I have started right after the stick the last 2 cycles. It's like somehow my hope for a BFP is keeping my lining in there and then the moment I give it up here comes AF. Uggghhhh.
