Hey Ladies!  I am taking over for @lebradford since she got her super awesome BFP.  Mondays work best for me so I will be posting the check-in on Mondays moving forward.  This is my first ever check-in so I apologize if I got anyone's status wrong.

This is the place to update us on your IUI or break.

I am still in the 2ww for IUI #2 (7 dpiui).  I've been feeling really good.  After last month's constant phantom symptoms I made myself accept that there is no way I would have any symptoms until after I test so there's no use worrying about it or trying to read into it.  Not sure how or why but it has worked!!  Just one more week to go!

QOTW: I would bring: The Princess Bride, The Sound of Music, and Monty Python & The Holy Grail.  I never get tired of any of these movies.  But MY sure does.

Vag cam today showed two beautiful follies 16mm & 22mm. I triggered this morning and have IUI #1 scheduled for tomorrow at 2:30! I know it's probably easy peasy but I'm still hella nervous about it all so any advice or calming thoughts would be MUCH appreciated.

QOTW: that's a tough one! If I'm stranded I'd want something funny and upbeat so I would say...

Had IUI #4 this morning...p/w numbers =65% motility, 11 mil total motile...E2/P4 8/12, Beta 8/19

Tomorrow is my first IUI and I am hella excited and nervous and trying not to spend too much time thinking about it.

DH gave me the shot last night and it wasn't too bad though I'll prob give it to myself in the future. I don't think i like waiting for someone to do it. I'd rather be in control.

No side effects from the Ovidrel so far and i refrained from testing out my trigger so I think I'm going beta or bust.

Good luck to all of you awaiting IUI or in the 2WW! I'm cheering you all on from the sidelines Surgery at the end of the month for my fibroids. Not sure yet when I'll be back for IUI#4. But taking a break has been nice too in a way!

I finished my Femara round yesterday.  Today, my ovaries are definitely hurting, which I find comforting to know that something is brewing.  I felt like this my first cycle on Clomid, but I did not have it last cycle, and I didn't respond as well last cycle, so I feel like this is a good sign.  I will start OPKs tomorrow, but basically if its negative tomorrow, then I'm going in on Thursday for labs and U/S, potentially triggering, and IUI either Friday or Saturday. 

QOTW: Sex and the City all seasons collection (I'm counting that as one choice as its in one package ) ,Sex and the City the Movie, and Bridesmaids.

@KristenG2011‌ I wore them today!!! I thought about taking a picture for you. My nurse said, "oh girl those are adorable!" When I told her the story behind them she said that it was the sweetest thing she had heard in a while. She told me I had better wear them again tomorrow!

I'm on IUI #2, another mid cycle ultrasound tomorrow. 2 follicles on the right were 18&17... Lining needs some help! Sucks when it looked awesome on CD 11, it was at 9 and now it's at 7 :-(

@AnnaClaire256 Glad to hear you wore them!  That is too cute! I got the same reaction at my office when I wore the ones I got.  My RE was laughing...cause we did back to back IUI's and I went in the next day with them on again.  I told my doctor....I did wash them!  They all couldn't stop laughing.  Keeping my FX's for you!!

Ok, not sure about protocol on joining the post, but I'm going for it! I usually get intimidated by all the guidelines, abbreviations, how to hell to manage a siggy, etc, so I don't post, but I'm going crazy this cycle!

1. Right now I'm in the 2WW, 8dpiui. Took Clomid 150mg 3-7, but just one sad follicle. Was only 16.25mm at my last ultrasound, but we gave it a couple more days to grow, then HCG trigger. Switching to Letrozole if this cycle doesn't work.
2. IUI #6 (I know, it's a lot).
3. Trying to hold out to test on Saturday 8/9. My RE only does a Beta if the HPT is positive.

QOTW: I'm glad other people chose TV series, because all I want is all of my Sons of Anarchy seasons. Jax Teller gets me through the day.

Well I've just taken ferema pill #2 for iui#4. This will be my final iui then will be moving to ivf if needed. I'm really hoping this is the one ( duh) so I can avoid the next process. I go on Sunday for follie scan. Not gonna lie I'm not feeling hopeful but I'll try to turn that around. Best of luck everyone!

Sorry I haven't been here in a bit. IUI #1 was a bust, which was sad. Then IUI #2 was canceled due to hubby's counts. (Basically zero spermies, which was a shock since his counts weren't that bad previously). So....took some time to chill out, rant and rave and now we're waiting for next cycle to start.

QOTD: don't laugh but probably Evita.

11dpiui #5 and beta is scheduled for tomorrow morning. I'm not holding out much hope as all my tests have been negative. We'll be going onto injectables for #6 and then onto IVF. Our clinic holds a free IVF seminar once a month and it just so happens that in August it is on the 7th. If we get the news it's negative tomorrow we will be spending our anniversary at the clinic.

Relieved to finally go into surgery this morning, and find out how long it will be until we can move forward with our 1st IUI!

QOTW: So, we didn't specify that the movies are DVDs...I choose 3 really long VHS movies that require 2 tapes, like Titanic. Then I will use all the tape as rope to try and survive.

IUI #2 = BFN. I started my period yesterday, and I also gave up caffeine in preparation for IVF. So I have cramps and a killer headache!

We have a consultation tomorrow to talk to our RE about IVF.

Good luck to all of you having IUI's this week - my best advice to the first timers is just to relax and go to your happy place

I am 11 dpiui and my beta is tomorrow.  This round has been totally different than the first so I have no idea what to expect and my RE's office works a bit differently with blood draws so it will be hopefully Thursday when I get results (I say hopefully because I don't want to wait until Friday!!).  I wish I could POAS but I am one of those lucky people who can't draw a positive so I must wait for b/w.

I'm still on iui #4 cycle. I'm slowly responding to gonal f, but I'm having another ultrasound tomorrow to see my progress. The hope is to trigger on Wednesday/Thursday then do iui on Friday/Saturday.

QOTW: I Heart Huckabees, The Princess Bride, Elf

1. I was on a break, due to timing with travel.  As I don't ovulate on my own, I was able to start Letrozole anyway on CDay"25" for our last IUI cycle. 
I had a complete breakdown when I found out that DH forgot to tell me that he was traveling again during this cycle, but fortunately I responded faster than ever with a 25mm follie and was able to do the IUI this afternoon after triggering yesterday.
We didn't time any BD this time, though, b/c we weren't expecting this response so soon.  So this is all riding on that IUI!

2. 5th (and final) IUI

3. Test/Beta day is Aug 20.

Big hugs to those that need them, congratulations to the BFPs, and GL to everyone cycling!!

Good luck @AnnaClaire256 and @DharmaChick. I really hope we all make it!

My IUI went okay yesterday. DH's count was a little lower than his SA (10 mil as opposed to 11 mil) but his motility was up ( 75% as opposed to 45%). I had read somewhere that a shot of espresso an hour before helped motility so he tried it. The doctor seemed to think we had a good chance so I am hoping it worked. I have an appointment in a week (8/12) for blood work and to see if I need any meds to boost lining or anything else. Then in two weeks (8/19) I have my beta test!

The good news is the DH's SA came back amazing. The conversation went something like this...

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK...

Dr: hey! How are you?
DH: hey, good, what's up?
Dr: well...your sperm count!

Post wash I think he has 45mil motile sperm. Dr said he had "sperm to spare" and even made jokes about him making extra money with donations. DH was proud as a peacock. He told me he wanted a copy of the paperwork but wasn't going to ask for it. When he nurse came in to tell me I didn't have to lay there anymore I was like, "umm, he wants to know if he can have a copy of his results." He was embarrassed...said he felt like he was bragging. But, now he's got it in writing.

AFM the IUI was actually very painful. I expected it to be similar to a pap as far as pain goes...but no. The dr had a hard time with the direction of the catheter. I should've asked more questions. He told me that if I have to do this process again, to remind him to aim towards my right shoulder...that that would make the process a lot more comfortable for me. I had quite a bit of bleeding that still hasn't completely stopped and everything down there is very very tender. Dr. told us to BD last night but there was just no way...

Overall I'm really happy to hear this SA came back so well and the dr said he feels really good about our chances. BUT...it makes me feel even more broken. I can't even get KU with super sperm!

@awiley10‌ it did suck...hard...but it's a small price to pay for a baby, right? No additional b/w hasn't been mentioned so far but I have to skype with my RE today and he may tell me more then. My lining was 10mm which is pretty remarkable considering I'm on 200mg of clomid! So at least that's something.

I'll keep you posted for sure...let me know how your b/w comes back!

Hey All - I've been out of town and actively NOT thinking about TTC... 

First, congrats to all the BFPs!!! 

Now that vacations are over, I am continuing to pack for our big move, less than 2 weeks away. I started researching a couple RE's but I haven't made any appts yet. I know I should, but I'm finally getting over the disappointment of the past few months and don't want to start the agonizing process again
