I am an Ultrasound Technologist. I work in a health clinic, tried the hospital thing and it just wasn't for me Love where I work and what I do...most days lol
Another ICU RN here! Currently working on my masters of nursing education to have a somewhat of a normal life with this kiddo. Graduate in December can't wait!
I was thinking about getting my masters in nurse education before the surprise BFP. Don't know if I can swing it now though. Maybe when thisone is 3ish.
I work at a daycare/preschool teaching. Once baby gets here I plan on being a stay at home mom! But will be looking to do something from home. If anyone has any options for at home work let me know!!!
Wow a lot of nurses! I am an ER nurse. Is anyone else as terrified as I am of catching something awful while pregnant?? I was recently exposed to meningitis and TB (this being the ER, I was exposed before we knew what they had, so didn't have isolation yet), before being pregnant I would've shrugged this off as it happens on a weekly basis (especially in triage) but now that I'm pregnant I'm so paranoid!
Me-24~~ DH-25~~Married 6/15/2013~~Pregnant with our first due April 2, 2015~ Septate/ Bicornuate/Arcuate /some kind of not-normal uterus- won't know for sure which one till after babe is born~~Hoping for a full term baby!
I work in Human Resources for a large firm. We just got acquired back on July 1st, so started with a brand new team and a bee manager. Not sure how I will tell them about my pregnancy. This will be interesting.
I'm a recent escapee of Hollywood where I was a tv exec for 10 years. Got my grad degree a year ago and have put my job search on hold for now... So impressed with how many people are in healthcare and education.
I'm an ICU nurse. Love the intensity, and controlled chaos. @70point3 you inspired this with your traveling response to the Jamaica thread, Lol. What do you do girl? You just got back from Beijing?
haha... yes. my passport pages are just about used up and part of my plans this week include renewing my Indonesian, Chinese and Aussie VISAs. Engineering background, but working in the Insurance/extended warranty industry now. Official title is "Business Development Manager" - super corporate, I know... But transferred over here almost a year ago, from Nashville, and I have 7 sales reps and am starting up our market in Austrailasia so lots of bombing around to get them all learned up on how we roll in the US.
I love it!
But going to be VEEEEERY interesting to tell my boss that I'm grounded starting mid Jan and most of next year. Good thing he just became a first time dadio last December; should be perfectly fine with it. So for now just trying to set the team up for working alone without actually telling them why!
I am a hair stylist. I absolutely love it but dread what I'll feel like standing all day by the 3rd trimester. Should be interesting! Hopefully my belly won't get in the way
