Another FFFC: I attended a church service this morning and sat with a silly grin on my face knowing that I wasn't wearing any panties under my cute little work skirt. I'm such a rebel.
At graduation today, one of the high school grads was telling everyone about her 6 day old baby. It took all of my strength to smile and congratulate her for it. Why can teenagers get knocked up without trying and I can't (so far... yeah yeah I know I've been at it 3 months)? Not fair.
laughing about all the hair washing comments. i used to wash mine 4-5 days/week, now just twice a week. I hate dry shampoo, always makes my scalp itchy.
How?
Her having a baby doesn't increases or decreases your chances.
I should be cleaning because the GF's dad is coming to spend the weekend with us.... Instead I'm going back and forth between The bump and Facebook.... Being very unproductive....
AND I wouldn't be surprised if I got a lecture about all the complaining I've done in the past two days at work when I found out a child that left my classroom (because his mom decided to be a SAHM) is starting back on Monday in my classroom (because mom couldn't handle staying at home) even though he is not in my age group anymore (this kid is a handful and I already had to deal with him for 10 months.... I did my year with him... I don't want him back)

ETA: Clarity.
it's the confessional post - being jealous isn't about being rational. I am aware no one else's fertility impacts mine. Doesn't make me feel better about it in the moment.
Part of the title is also Flame free.I lurked enough to see that flame free isn't always the case.
Back story-- as some of you know, I gave notice that I will be getting a new job since my boss was unwilling to change my hours. I have to work until 8pm 4 nights a week and Saturday mornings which is just too much after nearly 6 years. He was unwilling to change my hours so I told him I had to find something new that would be less stress and a more "normal" schedule. (Less stress in that I would have evenings free to see friends or family, spend time with my husband, and run errands and to have a normal 2 day weekend for trips and relaxing).
I found out they listed my job with the hours of 10a-6p Mon- Fri. Pretty much the exact schedule I asked for. So the new person they will eventually train (once they hire someone) will get exactly what I asked for before I told him I had to get something new.
FFFC: I've done a super job doing the bare minimum this week and giving no fucks. I'm job searching and just waiting to hear back from a few big companies, but time off between this job and another would not be a bad thing at all. I'm tired of working shit hours especially now that I know the person they will get to replace me gets what I asked for.
Married 9-1-12 (On Depo until 4-12) Me- 33, DH- 36
NTNP starting 9-12, Actively TTC since 9-13
My DX- Hypothyroidism. Prescribed Synthroid
DH's DX- Severe MFI- first SA results: 1.3 mill (1.2 mill motile), 21.6% motility, 2% morphology
Blood test revealed low testosterone so DH was prescribed Clomid. Repeat blood test and SA in November.
FFFC : I have done absolutely nothing today. I let DH wake up with our DS, then fell back asleep till 11:30. Ooops! The only thing I have done that was slightly productive was putting away all the DVDs away. I stack them on top of the DVD player instead of putting away, when I take the disk out of the DVD player to put in something new. There was about 30 DVDs to sort. Otherwise, I have caught up on TB and FB. Currently watching Madagascar 3 with my DS. I have no plans to be more productive today.

FFFC: I will ignore the fuck out of patrons until they ask me for help. No amount of quiet cursing or staring and gesturing at the computer screen will make me help you without a "please".
Standard operations when I was a librarian. 75% of what we were asked to help with on the computer was dating profiles, essentially stalking women (finding phone numbers), and retrieving photos of sex toys. Seriously.
Another FFFC: It turns me on when my husband talks about World of Warcraft. No idea why. It's a huge time suck, and we haven't played in years. Also, DH just revealed he's turned on when I cosplay, especially as a Star Wars character. Yessssss.... (Did I mention that this is the only cycle where he's kept up with my libido? Hehehehehe. I'm a lecherous hump.)
DH and I shower together 95% of the time before sex. Sometimes...I kinda don't want to have sex because I just don't want to be all dirty again down there.
Since moving 3 weeks ago, I have to drive through a town called Balzac on my way to and from work. I giggle and say Ball-sack EVERY time I pass the sign.
@lizzyp9112 That's bullshit. I hope the new hire turns out to be incompatible and they waste the next 6 months finding someone to come close to your competency.
Please note that due to the actions of TheBump and their parent company, XO Corporation, I no longer feel safe or comfortable posting regularly on this forum for my pregnancy journey.

Well yeah, that was my thought as well. I worked shit hours for 6 years, asking every year or so when my boss was in a good mood to change my hours. Now they realize they will not be able to find anyone to work until 8pm so they may as well make it easier to hire someone else.
I'm excited to find a new job and hopefully get a week or two off between the two jobs to clear my head. I have a feeling whomever they get will have "fun" taking every all the roles I fill here.

Another FFFC-- When I am in the basement alone and it's dark, I always have to run up the steps since I get a scared, "omg someone is going to murder me" feeling. Totally irrational, but I watch way too many true crime shows.

@Budders12 we should totes PM about crime shows. I got hooked on the Mugshots show on Amazon Prime and have been obsessed with researching the Taconic Parkway tragedy recently. I even read the book written by Jackie Hance, the mother of the three girls killed.
....I guess I have a third FFFC.... I get way too invested in these stories and end up reading and watching all I can once I find a crazy story that catches my attention.

FFFC: I bought six cheapie peesticks from Dollar Tree tonight. I realize this is probably ridiculous. But it still pissed me right the fuck off when the cashier gave me a judgy look and said "wow...guess you want to make sure?".

I would have totally laughed.
But, then I only buy First Reponse tests in CVS with self checkout. So, maybe I'm lying.

The only time I've had a cashier comment on my purchase of pee sticks, the person said "Good luck either way!" If a comment had to be made, I thought that was completely appropriate.
I've worked all day, painted a room after work, now time to relax.....
fffc...... I'm gonna relax with a whole bottle of dry red wine..... I may be back here a little later and a little drunker
Please tell me you left the boob prints in!! Random Person: "Oh what a neat design! What kind of sponge did you use on the walls to give it that texture?" Mira: "It's called chest impressions. They sell it at Home Depot! "

I seriously thought about it but I'm not sure the new tenants would appreciate it

There are a lot of challenges to living abroad in a country where I don't speak the language, but buying HPTs is very, very close to the top of the list. The only place to buy them are pharmacies -- and not "browse, select item, pay" pharmacies but ones with a counter, a bunch of bored-looking employees, and a long queue. So I have to go into one and ask, in a loud and clear voice, for an HPT. If that fails, I try the Vietnamese word (thử thai), but my Vietnamese pronunciation is awful and often incomprehensible. When that fails, I do sign language to indicate a pregnant belly and waddle around until the meaning is clear. At this point, all the employees are trying not to laugh at me... and failing. So I buy all the pink dye tests they have in stock (usually only a couple -- sorry, any other TTC woman in my neighborhood), which elicits a new round of suppressed laughter, and book it out of there.
Then, a month later, I repeat the entire process again.
/killme
I would write it on a piece of paper and hand it to them. Then no confusion and discrete. That sucks though.
