This FFFC is really odd for me:
I've never been a super-jealous 'that girl is out to steal my may-un' type of woman, but this woman that works with H gives me strange vibes. She's nice enough, but she tells H all about her marriage and the problems they're having and when he's off work she manufactures reasons to call or text him. The only thing they are on together is the squad booster club, so it's not like there are booster club emergencies that couldn't wait until he was back in the office or go through someone else. I do feel like I'm being weird and paranoid, but H has lots of women friends and works with lots of women and none of them give me this feeling. I feel like she shares lots of inappropriate personal info. I haven't said anything to H, and I'm in no way suspicious of him, but it seems like sharing info about how you and your spouse fight about money and you walked out isn't something that should come into the office. I dunno, I'm probably being odd to think it's weird.

Ugh.  This reminds me how angry I am at the "I-don't-need-feminism-because..." movement. Has everyone seen this?  (If not, conduct a Google image search for "I don't need feminism because.")  Apparently someone somewhere found a way to convince girls and young women that "anti-feminism" is the real feminism and is akin to a bunch of slut-shaming.  Most of it looks like the stuff on @MellowMoneyMonkey's newsfeed.  It makes me fearful for my possible future daughter(s).

How about we just try to teach young ladies to respect them selves and make good choices. For instance, not dressing like a whore and using proper grammar. I feel like there needs to be a class to instill this in our little ladies. Ex. Intelligence is sexy 101. That way if any douchey fellow wants to say something to try to knock her down then she will have a witty comment to make him STFU. Said Lady will also know that she should wait to find someone who can equal match her intellect and she doesn't need to dress like a skank to attract dudes.

How about not calling women whores or skank @solucky32214? 

I agree that there needs to be more grammar and literature help. I do believe that intelligence is attractive. I don't think that a woman's clothes should define her enough to be labeled a whore or a skank.

Have you ever tried going a weekend (or whenever you might have a stretch of 2-3 days)? Many people have to train their hair in order to go long. I used to be daily too, but I backed off a bit and unless it's a sweaty disgusting mess, I can go 3-4 days now without issue.

I have. Recently even. It doesn't help. I've got really straight, fine, oily hair. So does pretty much everyone on my mothers side of the family.

@solucky32214 I think that If a woman decides to show her body it has nothing to do with her being a whore(prostitute) or a skank (an unpleasant person). 

Your word choice was what I found offensive. 

I will ask you the same thing I ask the other poster: Is it okay if a woman is scantily clad to be sexually harassed? Groped? Sexually assaulted? 

We need to stop equating self respect with clothes coverage because there are plenty of women who dress conservatively that have little to no self respect.

My fffc goes along with the mason jar thing, I keep all glass condiment jars. I know I can use them for some sort of project, I just haven't done it yet. DH opened a cupboard the other day and saw how full it was and told me I'm a jar hoarder. I just can't throw them out!

My FFFC is that I have never had (or even been seen by) an OB/GYN and I have no idea how to get one.  Gotten some good suggestions on WTO, but my biggest hiccups with asking friends/family/neighbors are that my insurance is a networked-type deal (Kaiser Permanente), I'm not comfortable discussing TTC with people I'm likely to interact with much, and most of my neighbors are 2x+ my age.   Ugh, medical things are hard.

Or, even better, they should have a search for provider tool on their website (Kaiser).

I've done that!  Unfortunately, it's not a process of signing up with an OB directly through that search (I wish, ha), so I'm gonna have to talk to a phone tree call center rep to get in with the OB I liked most, probably.

I do this as well. I've discovered the joys of dry shampoo and I'm never going back to washing every day. My hair is curly and dries out if it's washed everyday anyway.

True life.... I hardly ever was my hair... Once a week at most... I have long semi curly hair and wear it up down halfway and can always get it to do something nice... I live on the tropical batiste because I love the smell and when I need to be fancier have a sock bun type thing that works wonders..... I have been visiting te US for 18 days and have washed it once



It will take a few weeks to adjust but once you go no-poo (or close to it like me) you will never go back. I always get compliments on the shine an body my hair has without using tonnes of products or heat on it

FFFC:  MH and I are going away for the weekend to a 40th birthday party and MH's ex "might" be there.  So I did what any rational person would do.  I went and got my nails/hair done, bought a kick ass dress, and a new pair of shoes.  Oh yeah bitch, he's mine!
