Bed sharing with DS. His crib is also in our room. He nurses to sleep, and I can usually put him in his crib for a couple hours. Once he wakes up, I bring him into bed with me. He still nurses multiple times in the MOTN.
We have a room for DS and have vaguely talked about moving him around a year. With DD, we lived in a one bedroom, so her crib was in our room and she slept in the crib 100% from day one.

DS slept in his PnP and then crib in our room until about 6.5 months (although he spent much of that time in our bed) because in our old house his room was on the total other side of the house and I didn't like that. Once we moved he transitioned pretty easily into his crib in his own room across the hall. I was pleasantly surprised by how easily he transitioned to the new situation.
Now he starts out in his own room, but he wakes up to nurse MOTN and it's hit or miss whether he makes it back to his crib or just stays with us the rest of the night.
We have the crib in our room, and he starts the night there, but wakes up at midnight on the dot and spends the rest of the night in our bed. I do love it most of the time, but recently he's been crazy restless with teething and I haven't gotten much sleep at all We tried a couple sleep training methods around 7 months and he wasn't having any of it, so it is what it is. #stubbornbaby
Bed share here as well. She still nurses to sleep and wakes up every 2-3hrs but I think she just comfort nurses because she's back to sleep within 3-5mins. I feel better knowing I'm not the only one with a LO not sttn. All my friends kids with LOs the same age have been sttn for months now.
I'm going back to work in 2 weeks though and my hubby with be taking the rest of my leave (6 weeks or so) So we are thinking of moving her to her crib. Not sure if I should keep the crib in our room first, then transition after she's use to the crib or move her right away to her own room. Thoughts?!
He was in the PnP in our room, then crib in our room until 8 months...now he's in his own room...DH would've had him in his own room from day 1, I would probably still have his crib in our room, so we kind of met in the middle
@LittleBabyG2013 I feel the same way! All the other LOs that we know who are DS's age STTN like easy breezy! He doesn't do terribly, but he still wakes up at least once. It's been giving me lots of feels, like I'm doing something wrong. People keep saying "oh, hmm, I thought by now he'd be sleeping through the night." Oh, did you think that?

I'm a big fan of baby steps, so I'd probably do crib first, then nursery.
@jennlin both your babies are mspi? Can DD have soy?
Dd can't have cows milk, ds can't have soy, egg, and I *think* cows milk. I have avoided it since dd is still nursing. On occasion I have a bit, and he gets a little fussy. It's a lot easier than dd's was, and in general, both their intolerances are very mild considering what it could be (we don't get bloody stools like some other babies).
She slept in the rnp in my room for 5 months then transitioned to her crib. I tried bedsharing and was able to for a few weeks but she moves around so much I was worried she'd fall and it was hard for me to sleep.

Yea mine say the same thing, or they say "that's because you let her comfort nurse.. You need to let her CIO.. She has you wrapped around her finger". Drives me crazy.. Then my husband reminds me., we have a healthy little happy girl.. That's all that matters
We just moved Oaklee to his room two weeks ago but I put a mattress in the floor. Not ready to be so far away from him yet. We still cosleep usually one nap a day.
RnP in our room for 2 months, then he went straight to his crib in his room ever since. LO likes to sprawl and DH is a sleepwalker, so no bedsharing for us.
I transitioned DD into her own room at 6 months. On occasion if she is extremely fussy or if I am very tired she will sleep with us. She ends up in my bed after 6am everyday.
Us too. Maybe one day he'll sleep in his bed full time and DH and I can cuddle.
We had our crib bedside but since we put our house on the market we put her crib back in her room so 90% of the time she sleeps in the bed with me our bed is like @jennlin's set up. Against the wall with me on the outside. My husband and the pup sleep on the couch or in the guest room.
The other 10% of the time she sleeps in the PNP that is in our room.
DD slept in the RnP in our room until about 4 months and then I transitioned her to the crib. She only had one or two bad nights during the transition, because she was used to rocking herself at night.
