Q came down with a cold over the weekend. We're supposed to go to the beach tomorrow with a friend and her kids. They're older (7 and 10) and I'm somehow using their age to justify going even though Q had a low fever when I put him to bed. I won't torture the poor thing going if I can tell he feels like shit when he wakes up but if he seems ok, we're still going. FLAMES.
@megsw85 my BIL downloaded an "app" for chrome browser that can fake your IP address to any country. I'm not sure what it is called, but he now watches any country's netflix on his computer.
Almost ready for this yard sale I've committed to doing. Thankfully I have a friend that's going to come over and help me with it an the kids so I don't have to it alone like I originally thought! Keeping myself busy to make this pregnancy/deployment fly by hopefully.
Ok so can anyone tell me what the hell is going on with my lips??? It's been like this off and on for a few weeks now. No bumps or anything but dry patches and they freaking itch and burn. I thought it was just really bad chapped lips so I've been using Chapstick but that's not helping. It had gone away but now it's back
I'm having such anxiety when i drop my baby off to the fitness gym daycare. It took a couple of months months of contemplating him being in another daycare setting after being at a home daycare while I'm at work. He hates it cries the whole hour. He's starting to get sad face before i can even set him down. I've tried sitting with him, feeding him first, bringing his familiar toys. I even change my clothes on the drive to pick him up so i don't waist time. The workers are kind of blah, not as soothing as i would like. Problem is my husband's been gone for work since Feb and I've been doing well with home workouts but need more. Its been 2 weeks of me praying my baby adjusts. My husband will be home in two weeks, maybe I'll continue home workouts until he's back? Any suggestions on calming baby before i workout? Some say is just an hour but i feel it's causing him to have a separation anxiety that was pretty non-existent.
It's my birthday and LO decided he just couldn't wait a minute past 5 to start celebrating with me! We are at my family's mountain house for the week so I have to somehow keep a toddler happy and quiet for several hours until the rest of the fam is awake. Hopefully I get some baby cuddles out of it.
@ColieAnn31, have you been out in the sun lately or changed birth control?
Edited to add I didn't see you said it itched and burned. I was thinking it looked a little like hyper pigmentation (melasma). But that wouldn't be uncomfortable.

I have no advice, but I wanted to say I could've typed this word for word. E never shows seperation anxiety in any other situation, but when I try to drop her off at the Y she goes nuts. Screams so much that they always call me to come get her within 15 minutes. I agree that the workers are kind of blah, and it's always a different person, and there are so many bigger kids running around I think it might be just the noise that scared her. I took a month off from trying to take her, and just working out at home, but that was probably the opposite of what I should've done. The workers suggested I just keep bringing her, and eventually she'll just get over it, but I have a hard time enjoying my workout when I know she's having a stage 10 meltdown the whole time. Lemme know if you figure something out!

No change in birth control and no prolonged sun exposure. I'm just gunna have to suck it up and go to the doctor.
@steamboat123 that sucks. My mom does that a lot (goes off meds without warning) because she is an artist and can't "feel" things. She ends up playing solitaire on the computer until like 4 am. I feel bad for my dad having to deal with it. I agree with maybe getting on a better combo of meds? That has to be really hard to live with, sorry
@steamboat123 I know how you feel. H should be on something. He gets really upset and I swear he never sleeps. I try to be gentle, but it doesn't help me at all to have to treat him like a kid.
@ColieAnn31 that looks like an allergic reaction. What have you been using on them? Try to look through the ingredients to see if there's a common item. Use nothing else on it besides some pure Vaseline or petroleum jelly (unless that's the common ingredient) and see if it gets better. Not saying you have herpes in the stigmatized STD fashion, but it could also be a herpatic outbreak. But yeah, a visit to your PCP isn't a bad idea.
I have been using the same Chapstick that I have been using for years now. Nothing new or different. I looked up cold sores (herpes) but they never get to a blistered point so that makes me believe it's not that. And I can't get into the doctor until next week.
21 weeks pregnant and finally had someone ask if I was. It was my neighbor and after I said yes her response was "your hubby has been getting it in huh!?"
New phone acquired! Some interesting folks shopping at the Radio Shack this morning.
@ColieAnn31 Have you tried taking Benadryl? Might help if it's an allergic reaction. Any new foods in your diet? New face wash? Boyfriend using anything new that he's kissing off on you?
I haven't tried Benadryl yet but that's a great suggestion! And I really don't think there has been anything new between me and A. I'll have to ask him but I'm pretty sure he's using the same things he's been using.
@34blondie if he's not being honest at this point then she might be better off without him. The fact that he's still being shady throws a red flag up for me. Maybe he doesn't want to work things out and figures that if he keeps lying the maybe she'll just call it quits. I don't know but I feel for your friend. You are an awesome friend for being there for her.
Day that describes my kids: Tyler pooped through 3 pairs of pants today and Bradley wrote the alphabet letters A-H on his own. One is the brains and one is the brut
H coaches 7th & 8th grade football. Practice starts tonight which means he'll be a nonexistent father Tuesday - thursday and Saturday mornings for the next two months..
A girlfriend with a May baby' H is a varsity football coach. I don't know how you coach's wives do it

I told him and Bradley not to tell daddy because daddy doesn't like messes and B said he was gonna tell.
So I said "come on man, I thought we were buds" and B said "you're not my bud, you're my mommy"
