Today is "free Fun Friday" at the museum. Two Fridays in the summer a bunch of museums and activities in the greater Boston area are free and thousands of people take advantage of it. Last year we had almost 2,000 visitors when we average 100/day. God help me guys, I am already dreading going in.

Annoyed at our swim lessons place.  They have a policy that you have to withdraw from classes by the 15th of the last month of classes you want. So we know N can't keep going in September, so we already sent in our withdrawal for September, but she would keep going through August. 

A few days ago our tuition was paid for August.  Then she broke her foot and clearly won't be able to attend any classes.  I emailed the guy asking for an exception and to see if they could refund our money for August.  He said they could only give a credit and would withdraw her.  Unfortunately, a credit won't do much for us in Chicago....

Maybe I'm unreasonable but I feel like a broken foot should be an exception to their rule and should result in a refund for this month.  She won't be able to go to ANY of her swim classes this month and we will be paying for the whole month.

Yesterday I asked G what he wanted to be for Halloween this year. "A dragon. Like last Halloween." We tried it on and it still fits. While part of me wants to get creative and explain to him he can be something else new and fun, I just said, "you look awesome!" and kept mum about changing it up. Score for the lazy mom!

Also yesterday on my run I was thinking how certain people on here had a "thing" that they were go-to's for. Like a certain someone about carseats I wonder if I had a "thing" what it would be. OMG this reminds me of two things my dad did to me and my brother when we were little.  He bought a new humidifier but we didn't know what it was and he told us to look in the little part where it was going to come out and then he turned it on.  Then he bought a futon but we didn't know what a futon was and thought it was just a new bed and he was like "OMG it's so soft.  Run really fast and jump on it!"  I thought I broke my fucking elbow.  Dumbass lol

I've had to redo mine before and it was toward the end of my period when the flow was light. I'm sure there a good chance it will be fine but as much as I hate paps I personally don't chance it.

Planning a sit down with H tonight to try and talk about how we manage our time with the kids. He insists on washing dishes during dinner and does all kinds of chores while they are awake and then complains I don't do anything...if we just spent the awake time with the kids and tackled chores together I think all would be solved.
