DD yanks them out and puts them in her mouth every time we try to put them in. ?We try to be sneaky about it... during diaper changes, etc, and even if she doesn't notice us put it in, if she bends over, she usually notices (the bow or the hair not in her eyes) and goes looking. ?
?
Any tricks or bows you like? ?I don't have no slippies.. but she'll yank her own hair out now to get them so I'm not sure that will work. ?Should we keep trying, or should we let her rest a couple of months? ?Thanks!?
Re: How do you get hair bows to stay in?
DD always pulled hers out, then magically one day it just stopped.
Even now, she pulls them out during naps or sometimes in the car b/c she likes to play with her hair when she's sleepy. We don't do bows, just small ponytail holders and barrettes to keep her hair out of her eyes.
Keep putting them in if you like, but you might make sure it's not something she could choke on. I'm sure DD has swallowed at least 1 ponytail holder in her life!
DD pulled them out for a while but I kept telling her how pretty they were and now she asks for them. She only pulled on them for a short time before she went back to letting me put them in.
I make clips so the ones I make stay in her hair pretty well, even when she used to tug.
