    I don't have kids so someone else will know more about this but the kindle has a lot of free educational apps for kids.  They also have a lot of free books for kids. The free book section for adults isn't too shabby either. It's also really easy for me to download books from my library and listen to audiobooks too.

    I haven't read the thread yet, but I'm having a day.  Maybe the best time to start a diet was NOT when DH left for two weeks.  I having nothing to do but sit and think about missing him, managing the kid on my own for that time, and things I can't eat.

    Oh no. We skipped DS' afternoon nap to go to a pool party, and now he's fallen asleep at my boob. It's 3:45. This cannot go on long.

    My parents keep sending me pictures of L on their trip.  They keep sending them in group messages and including my sister and it annoys me.  There is no real or logical reason that it would annoy me, but it does.

    After tonight I'm deleting my FB/TB/IG apps and only getting go after LO goes to bed. I need to buckle down and find a job. I'll miss y'all :((

    Wish I could. I'd dye my hair purple, too. But I work for a military unit, so I'm held to their standards. :/

    I feel like poop. And I waited too long to eat so then I got all weak... Now I just ate an entire box of Mac n cheese. I am gross.

    DS took an extra long and later than usual nap which was glorious since I feel like poop. But I still put him to bed at reg time because I still feel like poop and needed it to be bedtime. He is still awake up there. Not crying though. Hopefully he goes to sleep soon.

    Not really winning in the mom category today. Meh
