    Normally I'd be down for jello shots...but kids + hangovers = no bueno.

    Now if I wasn't KTFU, and I had some local, reliable childcare...id be singing to the tune of GIVE ME ALL THE BOOZE! Then I'd hate life the next day bc I'm a baby about hangovers.

    Maybe I'm becoming an old coot of sorts.

    @ShakeyJakey, my MIL came over and said at least twice that they didn't have home pregnancy tests back in the day so people probably had miscarriages all the time and didn't know it and hell, she may have had several and never knew. Ok.

    Luckily, I had to go to that baby shower so I GTFO.

    I just spent $120 on one pair of preschooler shoes and orthotics. DH thought DS1 was walking funny so 3 mo ago at his 3yo checkup I brought it up to the pedi who had him run down the hall and saw no issues. However, he kept complaining his heels and legs hurt at night. We thought it was growing pains. Well today I took him to the GOOD shoe store and within 3 minutes of looking at his old shoes and watching 3 steps she had validated our concerns and said he could be at risk for permanent damage because of how he's growing. MOTY right here. I did learn that kid orthotics are eligible for our health flex spending account though!

    Tldr: my kid is in more expensive shoes than I own because he walks funny and was developing weird muscle tone.

    Dinner is in the oven, home alone with both kids, no drinking for me tonight. Need a little detox, then out to dinner with the girls again tomorrow night.

    My dog died :( she'd been staying with my grandma since I left for college 6 years ago and was her best friend. She hadn't been eating or drinking but wasn't wheezing or acting weird.

    I saw that on the news and had a fit.  We have a family friend who is going to Ghana soon and I'm so paranoid about it.  I know it isn't in Ghana, but it's close enough to the affected countries.  Ebola scares the crap out of me.
