I am up.  :-(

Today is supposed to be DS' firetruck birthday party.  We have gotten NO RSVPs from the kids in his class.  The only people coming at the neighborhood kids and my parents.  :-(

I have been up cleaning my house and yard until after midnight all week and it is raining today.  It hasn't rained on a weekend here all summer and it picks today to break that streak.  I'm going to cry! 

We have a real firetruck coming and everything and the kids aren't even going to get to play on it or shoot the hose because it is freaking raining.

It's supposed to rain here too, but in ok with it because it will force me to stay inside and clean and organize/box clothes and toys

It's tax free weekend here so we are going to go buy a computer and some clothes today. I also meal planned for the month of August so we have to go grocery shopping today too.

Am up, again. Been a long night! Baby sleeps great when snuggled right up next to me, & for like 15-20 minutes when in her bassinet.....

Inlaws coming over this morning, & my sister & her family this afternoon, so busy day.

I'd like to go on record as saying that the 1st week (or so) of breastfeeding is by far the worst part of the whole labor/new baby experience, IMPO.

DS has started giving these super-cheesy, toothy grins to everybody. It's freaking adorable. I'm trying to get a pic, but he's a toddler so he he makes like 5000 micro movements a second.

That sucks about the party but you guys will just make the best of it. And DS will still love that a firetruck is there for him! Hopefully there's a break in the rain at some point.

Btw, I'm new in Parenting. I hail from D13 but really I have an N13 DS.

Im laying in bed pretending to be asleep. Of course I'm not actually asleep bc my fucking allergies are the bane of my existence so far this pregnancy. Dh got up with DS. I'll probably join them in bit...bc coffee.

It's raining here too, I was supposed to have a photo session tonight at the beach but I guess that will be out. We're trying to find something to do to get out of the house but everything indoors will probably be packed

Dh decided it would be a good idea to stay up all night last night after we got back from a friends wedding. Dd is taking her morning nap and then we don't really have any plans for the day. I'm trying to rest and relax as much as I can this weekend because I go back to school next week to start prepping for the kids.

Good morning! Started the day with a little p in v, so that was great. The baby (who I really need to stop calling 'the baby') slept until 9 which is totally unheard of. Now I'm in the recliner drinking coffee while she regales us with her versions of classic nursery rhymes.

My plan for the day is to clean, meal plan, workout, and possibly shop.

I'm not a huge sports person, but I love fantasy football. And football parties.

I know so little of fantasy football. I just know I can't stand to be in the same room where a bunch of football background noise is blaring on the tv.

I'm really annoyed my H has his car club meet thing today. It's like 4-9 so it really gets in the way of the afternoon and the evening and I'll be on my own for dinner.

I'm putting my complaint here because I want him to go and do his thing since he hasn't been able to for a while. If I say anything to him he will cancel and I don't want him to do that.

Dd (10.5 months) discovered the DVDs on the bottom of the entertainer center about 15 minutes a go. She pulled them all out and is having a grand old time moving them from one side of her body to the other and back again. Now if I can only get her to put them back when she's done...

I finally got to see the end of Frozen! DS usually craps out and loses interest midway through but I made him start watching it in the middle this morning. Great movie, definitely in my top 5 Disney favorites.
