Who's child refuses to go to sleep????? It's 2 in the morning and she is squirming around fidgeting, fighting it. Won't take my boob. Won't take a bottle. Spits out her paci. But sucks on her thumb and hands aggressively. I'm losing my patience. I want to cry. It never ends!!!!!!!!!!!! If she isn't in her swing she just won't sleep at night. And tonight we don't have a swing. Is there something wrong with her? I hate to say this about an infant but I feel like I have the worst behaved baby at night.
What infant goes to sleep at 1 or 2 or 3 in the morning? We need to work on our day schedule better I guess. And I have tried it all.
This was just more of a late night vent.

DS: 11/8/11 | 9 lb 7 oz, 22 in
DD: 5/22/14 | 9 lb 9 oz, 21.5 in
BFP#3 9-4-13 Benjamin Lee born 4-28-14
Other things that have helped us, swaddling, sometimes arms in, sometimes arms out, depending on her mood. She's learning to roll, so she likes sleeping on her side. I'll get her to nap by holding a lovie and patting her back or butt until she finally falls asleep.
Could she be too hot or too cold? What is the room like that you're in? Too bright? Too loud? I came home from work one night and H said to me "she won't sleep" Well no shit, you have all the lights on and the tv blaring. So I got her in her pajamas, snuggled her with her paci in my bedroom with just a soft light on and she went right to sleep.
By any chance do you have a wubbanub? I thought they were silly until I realized it gave her something to clutch on to while she was able to suck on her paci.
Sorry so long, I'm just trying to rack my brain for things that have worked when DD has been fighting sleep.
Creepy internet (((hugs))) Being a mom is so hard, but you're doing great!
She usually ends up in bed with me too. She doesn't seem to like her rnp at night. She will take naps, but when it's bedtime she wants to be as close as possible. Last night I just went to bed and nursed her laying down. She slept on her side the entire night. I do notice she seems to like her side more. She ended going to sleep around 11 and slept until 4 and then back to sleep until about 6.
So the problem I am running in to is her wanting to go to sleep on her own. Even if she sees me or hears me, she has to be touching...
And this is if she is not colicky. My mom said I was colicky and my oldest sister was really bad and she finally got to witness some of it herself and said she definitely has a bit of colic. But its not every single night.
