    I swear I have! My doctor told me I have an abnormally small uterus. Maybe that's why.

    Your uterus doesn't even come up from behind your pelvic bone until around 12 weeks (correct me if I'm wrong ladies). I know I'm showing a lot of bloat and how much I'm over eating, plus it's my third and it looks more noticeable to me (I'm 6 weeks), but it won't actually be baby for a while. It may feel hard because you have a lot of gas and poop in there lol

    Look this is my first baby and I don't have many female friends. My husband is no help either. Thanks for the responses to my question. I don't appreciate all of the Ass hole answers.

    Right.  So unless you're the size of a Barbie doll, your blueberry sized fetus IS NOT SHOWING.  Pinky swear promise.

    #1 You're the one calling names - what does that make you?

    #2 How come in your world asshole starts with a capital letter and has a space between ass and hole? 

    #3 This isn't the place you thought it would be? Why because we didn't just jump up and down and say what you wanted to hear? This is a really supportive environment, but you have to give support to get support and TB excepts a certain level of intelligence, wit and sense of humor - also, big girl panties. TB definitely expects those. So no, you aren't showing, it probably isn't twins, and now move on with life. If you don't like it here, go somewhere else. OR, here is an idea - lurk for a while and get to know our community before you jump in and ask for validation of your unrealistic ideas. You wouldn't have had to realize you don't like it here by getting a bunch of snark if you had taken the time to get to know the place. You still can if you want to.

    I thought I was showing today ... But then I remembered all the crap I ate yesterday! It's just bloat you will be showing soon enough.

    TB is filled w lots of opinions ... Your going to need to have some thick skin to deal w some of the comments. However it really can be a helpful and supportive place.

    Name calling will only make everyone more vocal.

    Good Luck w your pregnancy.

    I thought I was shit at spelling.

    Lately, thanks to use of BB systems, chats and forums, I've been shown how wrong I am.  Yes I have an occasional typo, but nothing as consistently catastrophic as I've seen lately.

    Wow.  Just wow.

    Who ever thought that using text shorthand in regular forums, emails and writing in general was a good idea, ought to be shot.

    Why are you in such a hurry to be showing? This is going to be a long nine months if you try to rush everything along. If you feel like you are showing now you are going to feel like an elephant when this is all done. Don't rush it.

    Hey, I know we're all hormonal pregnant crazy people right now, but you don't have to be so rude about a first timer. I'm a first timer and I keep making up stupid symptoms because I'm EXCITED! What is wrong with that. You can continue to politely decline that someone is showing, but you don't have to get sarcastic and rude to someone you don't even know. That's all I'm saying.

    I'm sure if you go by gestational age, my baby is the size of some berry or nut. But that's not why I am showing. I'm "showing" because I can't stop eating crap, have crazy cravings, (I'm not sure morning sickness exists for me, I guess that's a good thing) and thus I also am a bit backed up. So sure, call it "showing" if you want but at this stage (8-9 weeks depending on which dating method I use) I am pretty sure my "bump" is not so much due to my raspberry located in my uterus as it is the chicken nuggets, ice cream, pickles, cupcakes, and salsa located in my stomach. I've caught a couple of girls at work eyeing my belly, they know we are "trying" but I would be super embarrassed if they knew I was only 8 weeks along and that what they are seeing is really just my pizza-poop baby. Sorry if too much TMI. (I know I need to be eating better, I've just had a c-razzy week at work and my husband is out of town so I've just been behaving badly! I feel so guilty, jeez!)

    I'm relatively small framed and started developing a little pot belly at 9 weeks. I know it's not the baby. I know it's just bloat but my in laws say happily I'm already showing and I laugh and say it's cake! and my husband kisses me and pats my belly because we're excited for our baby. Scientifically the baby is too small, it's ok we're enjoying the process.
