Anybody else get lonely?

  I know the feeling. My family and I had a falling out right around the time I found out I was pregnant. I still had/have his family but it will never be the same as mine. I still have my grandmother but we've never been super close. Try to keep busy, that's the only real advice I have lol

  I don't really miss my family - I mean, I love them, but I moved away from home almost 20 years ago, so I am used to not being near them.  However, I do find that pregnancy in general can be lonely, because unless you have pregnant friends, or newish mom friends, a lot of people don't know what you're going through.  If you're not feeling well or if you're feeling exhausted, and not feeling like yourself, people don't fully understand.  You're also limited on social outings, not being able to drink and all.  DS STILL says to me - "let's do something fun.  Let's go get a beer at such and such brewery."  Um, no thanks.  I can't have a beer and watching DH drink while I deal with a toddler at a brewery is the opposite of fun for me. 
  
  Maybe you could try to meet other pregnant ladies. I moved to a new city about 3 years ago, so when I was pregnant with DS, I didn't have many friends, But I met some of my current friends through prenatal yoga classes, birth classes, etc.  Being a mom of a baby and a young toddler can also be lonely if you don't have friends with kids about the same age.  My neighborhood has a mom's group which is really active, and they're a great source of support.  I would look to see if there is one in your area.
