Help! I am not feeling fond of or motivated to cook or eat meat at all. So I've been substituting with vegetarian products. Of course they're almost all soy. I am not comfortable having so much soy but I am at a loss on how to get as much protein as I want/need. Any brilliant ideas?

Re: I am eating too much soy
Maybe buy the precooked rotisserie chickens from the grocery store? They are already cooked and you can usually get them hot
EDIT- I obviously skimmed over the part where you said you aren't into eating meat either. Ignore me.
I'm not hungry, I'm HUUUNNNNNGGGRRRRRYYYY! NOW!

I eat a lot of beans and nuts. There is some protein in most plants so eating a varied veggieful diet covers a lot of your protein needs.
If you're really concerned there are dairy free protein powders to add to smoothies or premade vegan protein bars.
If you do lacto-ovo, eggs and dairy stuff have plenty of protein.

i do love a good smoothie. Yeah, meat replacements can be gross. I've found a couple of really yummy ones, though, that I want to eat all the time. I just know I shouldn't.
I think my SIL sells these. I'll have to ask.
