I hope you are able to either get in with the o/b on your discharge papers, or able to find a new o/b, ASAP. Being in limbo is so hard, but I am keeping all crossed for you it's just too early for a HB. So many ((hugs)) your way!

I am so sorry to hear this. I hope the dates are just off by a few days. 6w is usually right when the heart starts to beat so a day or two can make a difference. Sending you massive (((HUGS)))

I hope that you can get in to see the new OB quickly and she will be able to put some of your fears to rest. I'm sorry that the nurse was such a bitch! If you have time, take the time to write a letter to that OB and explain why you chose not to go with their office - many times, the OB has no idea how their staff is acting.

So far so good today. I have only seen a couple very veeeery faint smears of blood when I go to the bathroom.

Question: a natural miscarriage would not come and go like this, right? Just progress until everything is over? I so confused by what my body is doing.

When I had my natural MC, started at 7 weeks, didn't grow past 6wks2, I had what felt like a pretty strong period, not all that much clots, but I did bleed for a little over a week, 1st few days heavy period, then tapered off. But it took 8 full days before I got to a light flow, and a couple more days until just spotting for a day or two.

When I had my mc's once it started bleeding it didn't stop. First pink, a little, then red, then clots and lasted for a week. I never had that coming and going, only with my SCH in this pregnancy (and I am still going!). I hope it is a good sign. I also hope that you see a HB next time. Six weeks is pretty early. Good luck!

Ditto to the other posters. With my three MCs I started off with pink spotting, then red, then clots and full on flow. I wouldn't think it would come and go like this. FX for a strong HB next week!

Thank you for sharing your experiences with me. My previous loss was not due to natural causes, and I thought maybe it progressed differently due to injury than natural ones would.

I've had veeeeeery light amounts of blood today, still old and brown. I am so relieved it is lighter than yesterday. I'm still a bit crampy, but not as bad as the weekend. I'm worried and confused, but grateful.

I had u/s with this lo at 6 weeks 2 days ! He said if would of been couple days sooner wouldn't of seen it. So hang in there! My m/c started out brown, then pink , then full on and cramping was like period. Lasted a week. Like pp said not on and off...good luck!

i'm sorry you couldn't see the HB yet, but that's pretty normal at 6w. (i know that's still not the most comforting to hear. i've got everything crossed and sending T&P and sticky vibes for you!) i hope you can get in with your new OB ASAP. what's with all the asshole nurses i keep hearing about? i'm sorry you had to deal with that.

with my nmc, i just started bleeding like a medium flow day for about two days straight, and in the beginning (starting within the first four hours or so) was some of the worst cramps i've ever had in my life. it did get intermittent after that, but not until late on the third day, and it actually stopped altogether by early on the fifth day. i had an experience like you're having with my first pregnancy though (even near the same time frame...6.5 weeks), and he's 4 years old now. i hope my (limited) experience helps put your mind at ease.
