@Skeemer is pll good? I watched like 5 episodes and had a hard time getting into it
It's just okay IMO. It reminds me of a soap & it can be super goofy at times. But I watch it to pass the time. I've exhausted Mad Men & Desperate Housewives on Netflix. I'd love new suggestions if anyone has any.

I couldn't get into mad men either. Have you watched the vampire diaries? That's one of my favs, and it's always sunny in Philadelphia. I could watch that show over and over lol
Número uno 12:30 feeding, and the lovely ladies of London are on tv. Since DH didn't wake up for this feeding I'm gonna bother him wih a British accent all day tomorrow. Sleep deprivation for the win!
I'm awake. Having anxiety about my RCS, scheduled for 8 hours from now. Trying REALLY hard to keep calm. Hoping and praying I can get through it without having a panic attack this time, so that I can truly enjoy meeting my squish for the first time. (I was such a mess with DD1 that I glanced at her and then begged for Valium).
Feeding station - Breastfriend pillow, water glass and robe. I wake up drenched from the night sweats and get chilled.
What are you all doing about night sweats? After soaking my bed for two nights, I'm now sleeping on a chucks pad, but my top sheet still gets soaked. And then it is cold and damp ehen I crawl back in from a feeding.
Reporting for duty! We had our first successful MOTN feed. It took an hour and a half but we did it! Just checking TB quickly because I took advantage of being able to send her to the nursery tonight. I felt a little guilt doing that, but it is my last night to get sleep for probably the next year, so I did it anyway. I figure I have until 4:30, 5 the latest, which is fine by me!

Not having the issue of soaking the bed, but could you try sleeping on towels that you could then change out?
I hate the fake-out...baby falls asleep on boob, wait a bit, put her in RnP, get back in bed, turn out light...baby starts fussing and/or gets hiccups and feeding process must start over. Ugh!
Ugh I think my LO has reflux. Poor guy barely slept all day & was sputtering & coughing when I laid him down after his last feed even though I had kept him upright. So now I'm holding him upright longer & trying not to fall asleep
@Csltdk I feel like we are on the exact same schedule every night. Every time I'm up for a feeding I see you are too. I really think our little ones should start extending their sleep a little bit longer!
Hey y'all. Second feeding just completed. She seriously knocks out hard after the second feeding so I'm hoping to get back in bed to sleep before my mind begins to wander & keep me up. Maybe she'll let me sleep until 6. *fingers crossed*
First time I've actually responded in this thread, although I've read it many times.
DD slept from 1030-230 and so did I. I'm hoping she'll now sleep 330-730. That would be amazing.

I tried the towel idea earlier tonight, but it was so hot. Who knew terry was so warm?

I felt so guilty using the nursery at first, but since the nurses were coming in to help on the nights that DH spent at home with DS1, it was so easy to send him off between feedings. I'm missing the nursery now! Enjoy your sleep.
I've been noticing a big difference since we've started swaddling more the last few days. She is much calmer and falls asleep faster. She is also adorable as a little burrito. Hoping this feeding doesn't turn into a 3 hour console Gemma back to sleep party like last night!
I agree that using the nursery is wonderful while you have the option. My LO was in the NICU, but as soon as I was able, I was trying to spend every minute all night with him. The nurses strongly suggested (they can't insist) that I go sleep. They said my body is recovering too and I would be a happier mom once I healed a little and that required sleep. Heal up ladies!! Get some sleep!!
Tonight my sleepy brain didn't put the lid on the bottle correctly and just dumped formula all over us. I changed LO and I think I might wash my hands, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to crawl back into bed with a sticky shirt. Because sleep.
@Huahine not a helpful comment, but I've begun to embrace the night sweats, only because they mean more weight loss for me. I'm going on 3 weeks now (25 more pounds to go...).
A cool shower before bed does help lessen them somewhat though.

Jack is sleeping in the PNP instead of on my chest! Oh, happy day! He slept 2.5 hours in there, woke up to eat, and is back in there asleep. I really hope we can keep this up. I feel so much safer and can sleep so much easier this way.
After a very long night of cluster feeding and gas last night and today DD slept from 9:30-2:30. It's a long stretch but it felt SO good to get a little sleep. We both needed it. Now onto feeding #1 tonight!
@Csltdk we're on the same schedule. It's midnight, so I guess this is my first night feeding.
I read Tamra is going to be a grandma. I hate that they are associated with where I live and grew up. I don't associate with anybody like that. However, those types were way more prevalent before the recession.
Did you see the commercials for Extreme Parenting on Bravo? Right up my alley!
I would go on Amazing Race. Could you imagine Amazing Race toddler edition where families had to travel with their itty bitties? My husband and I would kill each other, and we've traveled a ton with DD.
First night home from the hospital. DD has been cluster feeding and tired herself out. Slept from 10;30 to 2, so I had to wake her--my milk came in and holy cow I need her to nurse. It was really hard to get her to latch. What do you do when they're too sleepy and won't open their mouths?

Eta - Oy with the run on sentences.

I call DS "Baby Burrito" when he's swaddled!
All caught up on Ladies of London. Team Caroline! About to move on to RHoOC.
Night curiosity question: Which reality show would you go on?
I'd love to be on Worst Cooks in America! I'm not terrible in the kitchen but I'd love to learn cooking techniques from the greats.
