MY MOM IS HERE! I've been looking forward to her visit for a few months, so it's so nice for her to actually be here. Today was my first day off work (of 5. My boss is awesome ) and we went shopping, got some coffee, discussed plans, visited my work (they didn't believe we look that much alike, heh), and took in a movie. Now we're just chilling after supper My brother and my aunt are going to be here on Friday, so we're trying to spend some time just the two of us.

On the TTC front, I'm pretty sure I'm gearing up to O. Informed MH of that last night, so we'll see how it goes lol.

QOTD - I'm obsessed with costumes and corsets right now. I was actually talking to my mom about the corset I want to buy for my birthday. I have a 34" corset that I can close to nothing, so I'm thinking about getting a 30", but my hips are at 49" (I have 11" of difference between waist and hips), so I'm wondering if that would look a little odd, and also how it would fit *sigh*

YAY for awesome bosses! Are you making the corset? Or can you try it on? I like they way they look on me, but once I am in there, I feel like they make my hips look like boulders popping out. lol Attractive!

I have made a corset before, but there are particular things that go into a corset for waist training, which is what I want to do, that I don't feel comfortable doing on my own. I would be ordering this one online. It's a standard size, which is what's eeking me out a bit. I was actually in the process of ordering a custom sized corset, and had even put down the 50% deposit when I got my BFP. I cancelled it then, and I haven't had the money to start it again (it's 3x the price of the standard size one)

A girl in town here sells fashion corsets from her house and has hosted a few girls night parties for people to try corsets on. I guess I just have the body for them, because every one that I've tried on everyone has been jealous. They give me a gorgeous smooth hourglass shape.

Late to the board as usual! Hello @blackbird818‌. Thanks for the check in. Glad to see you are taking a liking to fishing. Nice and relaxing it's one of my favorite summer pastimes.

TTC Front: Been taking my temps and using my OPK's religiously. According to FF, tomorrow starts a 4 day spread of potentially fertile days followed by 3 potential O days. I definitely feel empowered by all the insight I've gained by tracking things this cycle.

In other news, my family from AZ is in town for the next 10 days and it really feels like summer begins when they get here so I'm stoked!

@lyndz333 High five for getting into temping/charting! It really is helpful if you put a little effort into it. Bc this is really your first cycle charting you should know the FF is just guessing at the fertile/O days at this point. As you enter more cycles, FF will begin to have a better grasp of your "norm". Keep it up girl. You're doing great!!

One question though from looking at your chart. What kind of thermometer are you using? Does it go to the hundredth place? Most BBTs go to two decimal places for the most accurate reading for charting purposes.

How great to have your family in town!!! Enjoy it!!!!!!

@medic7979‌ glad you &YH were able to have a chill day together! Adding a new furbaby is always an adjustment. We have 4 which still is hard to believe (totally not planned). Our latest Buck was a rescue that kinda just found his way to us at the end of March. But now we can't imagine life without him. I know he was meant to be ours.

Great job on the weight loss! Keep it up lady!! Hope you have a great BBQ and fun time with family & friends!!

Just keep temping. It'll get easier, I promise. It really becomes habit after a while. And PM me any time you have questions.
