I am awake. Ever. Hour. I'm supposed to go to work tomorrow but I feel like LO is trying to head butt her way through my cervix. Normally I'd have my weekly appointment tomorrow but my OB has a surgical case. Debating in going to L&D in the morning because a cervical check sounds more enjoyable than going to the office.
I'm addicted to pumping milk. Like, seriously addicted. I love everything about it.
It's taking all of my willpower to not EP again. It's so much easier for us. Ugh....
I keep forgetting I have a baby. How is that even possible?

Although I enjoy being able to relax (or try) while on leave, I'm tired of waiting on baby to arrive. I miss all the interaction with people from work and classes. I might have just texted DH to hurry home and leave work. Not in labor but I want him with me to go do something fun. No shame ;;)
I am actually looking forward to DH going back to work. He has been super helpful these last few weeks, but I think he's going stir crazy at home. He has had such a short fuse these last couple days and I've had enough. I'm stressed too, but seriously, getting all bent out of shape over the tiniest thing DS1 does just makes it worse and puts everyone on edge.

These were my symptoms right before my water broke. My Fffc is I still havent posted a birth announcement.
Oh, I've got a good one. I personally am politically left leaning - but I find Chris Christie really intriguing and want him to at least run to see how that plays out in the republican field. I felt really bad for Mitt Romney because before he had to play the "who's more conservative" game to win the republican nod he seemed like a middle of the road, decent guy, but by the time the republicans were done with him he was unrecognizable.
Not sure how I feel about Christie at this point but I agree on Romney. I think he's much more moderate than they made him during the last election. If he had run on his own platform instead of the far right's I think he would have won.
I go to Sonic at least 3 times a week. I've told myself that for every day that I go past my due date, I'm getting a slush during happy hour. Poor LO is going to be hyped up on sugar by the time he/she comes out.
I'm 2 weeks postpartum and pretty much feeling back to normal. I'm sad that I'm reaching the end of milking the whole "I'm pregnant/just had a baby" phase where people will do shit for me.

The last couple days I haven't had the soul-devouring hunger that I've had for a lot of the pregnancy. Which is seriously kind of disappointing to me, because this is my "go insane and eat all the things" week.
DH and I are planning to go to Prince's Hamburgers today for lunch, and I already have plans for a chili cheeseburger, fries, diet Coke, and chocolate milkshake. I want to be able to eat all the things! Though I know there will be no shame in taking half of the burger home for later (and in fact, would probably make me happy at some later point.)
My FFFC is that on a daily basis I'm currently getting, oh, maybe a third of my calories from frozen deserts. My baby is going to come out with a Dairy Queen curl.
If we go to Portillo's for lunch today, I'm pretty sure I am just getting cheese fries and a chocolate cake shake for lunch. That's balanced, right?
That sounds amazing. Completely amazing.
My family used to visit Illinois about once a year & we'd always stuff our faces with the Italian beefs. Sometimes a friend of ours will send us an order down here to surprise us. OMG, those sammiches are to die for!
I have tried pretty much every wives tale under the sun to get me to dilate, efface, and hopefully go into labor. Nothing has worked. I beginning to think I will have to forcibly evict this child.
I'm waiting at the doctor and crossed my legs and felt something sticky on the back of my calf. I have orange soda on the back of my leg. I don't even know...and also don't care.

While I feel bad for the families and get that there's lots of political upheaval going on, I'm sick of 24/7 coverage of the crash of the Malaysian Flight.
I don't do quiet well and the TV is on for company since the dogs and LO don't talk to me. I want to hear something more upbeat and happy. Or dumb and pointless.
Oh! And #2: there is some chance that I will go BSC at Toys-r-us today. After a trip there yesterday, I am already irritated that they NEVER have what I am actually looking for (we have no BRU, so this is our only option) - things I want to see in person instead of/before ordering online.
Then, they wouldn't accept a coupon that expired the day before (seriously - I have no idea what day of the week it is, let alone the date!).
Then, when I got home, the sterilizer I settled for didn't work, so now I have to go back to that hell hole! If they give me a smidge of an issue in returning, I will lose it.

Yes! I've been loving all the shows. Except waking early to only be disappointed by the 21 day fix infomercial this morning was sad. I don't want to see colored little containers I want to see yummy goodness!

We watched HGTV all day yesterday for this same reason!

I've been watching The Office on repeat throughout my entire pregnancy (I work from home, so it's just me and the 8 lb dog all day, every day). I'm pretty sure this baby will respond better to Michael Scott's voice than her own mother's at this point.
I had a dream about you guys last night. But before I get to that, let me just announce that I got 4 hours of sleep last night! 4 HOURS! Miracles do exist.
But anywho,
Had a dream that we had a sleep over and good amount of you were there. Your screen names were floating over your heads and we were all still pregnant. For some reason, though, we all had the same due date which I don't even remember when it was at this point. Aside from that, we all wore adult sized janimals (which if you've ever seen the dumb ass commercials, is basically an animal designed full body onesie). Every time someone random tried to show up, we threw popcorn at them and then promptly collected it all back so we could still eat it. When you all got here, you kept farting on exercise balls (lmao clearly that stuck with me @Summerlovin314 ) and eating the penis cake someone graciously provided for us. But I remember I ended up leaving because I couldn't stand the gas anymore. So, you guys farted me out of my own house.

Food network has SO many repeats! I pretty much watched food network for 11 day straight in the hospital (which amused my nurses, since I was unable to out even ice chips in my mouth the bulk of that time).
We did HGTV most of yesterday too, but I have gotten into a routine of knowing what time it is by what is on TV. I was lost yesterday. And today, my Today Show time was bogged down with downed plane coverage.
I was reading the other post about what music everyone is listening to and feeling like a super nerd. You guys are the cool kids listening to bands I've never heard of, or early 90s grunge and I'm just over here with my taylor swift pandora station and loving it. This is what I'm singing my LO.
When I get home from the hospital today, I am jumping on a scale when I get home. I am so curious how much weight I lost from dd,placenta, blood. I know I am going to be disappointed in the amount no matter what, but i just need to know.
My mother just went to see planes fire and rescue with my son. I told her I couldn't go because I have a conference call, which is true...but the call is only going to last 15 minutes tops...then I'm going to take a nap.
My FFFC is that I am so sick of changing LO's and my clothes after each spit up I stopped changing mine. Yesterday I forgot to burp him in BBB and he burped himself while throwing up alllllll down my black shirt and black striped skirt. I tried to use water to wash it but then just stayed in the clothes the remainder of the day and all through house guests that night. I smell like puke 75% of the day.
FFFC#2 I feel inadequate as a mom so I research and read EVERYTHING. And because majority of the stuff I implement is working, I feel the need to research even more. DH told our neighbors I am looking for an owners manual. Then he says all snarky "if she put the effort into sports and gambling, we'd be rich". I'm thinking he's a little annoyed with my "so I read..." comments.
@jensavicci this party needs to happen for real. Sounds like the best time ever!! Haha!!
My confession is tame: the part that I'm looking forward to MOST about delivering my sweet girl?? No more effing acid reflux. Nothing helps anymore, and I want it gone. I can't sleep. If I'm only going to get an hour of sleep at a time, I'd like for it to be decent sleep!!
Cam just took a mean shit after eating. Now he's asleep peacefully. I don't want to change his diaper because I don't want to wake him up. What do I do guys???
And another one: I've been nauseous all day and my toast for breakfast came back up. Toast. Seriously? So I wanted m & m's from our lovely candy dispenser. They stayed down. Now I may have eaten half the container..and it's empty (
Re: FFFC
I used to sleep on my stomach exclusively, so it feels really nice to get off my sides for a little bit.
I just let DS eat a mini cupcake for breakfast because I'm exhausted from being up with DD & her belly troubles last night.
Parent of the year right here. X_X

@Matthew930 I strongly dislike janimals lol the commercial suggests we wear them to the mall. Uh, NO!
