@samounthak‌, GENERALLY if DD doesn't wake up, I'll wait to change her. Granted she's a gassy little girl, so 50% of the time what sounds like a horrible diaper is just gas. I've learned that if its actually a gross poop she'll cry to be changed. The first week I think I woke her up 50 times to change her and it was just gas.

I have 2.

OH set up a visit to a private school for the firstborn. Forgot all about it and ended up being 20 mins late...

and I have work to do but baby kept crying so I crossed one leg and propped her up on my knee, bottle fed her with one hand then she fell asleep. 

She's still on my leg and I'm not moving her because I have work and bumping to do while leaning over her. I maintain that I am multitasking, not just tired of dealing with screamy baby.

This. Your baby will tell you when something is wrong.

This. Your baby will tell you when something is wrong.

I checked his diaper and it was indeed shit. So I tried very ninja-like to change him. He didn't wake up because of me. He woke up because apparently he wasn't done. I ended up watching him shit for another 5 minutes AND pee every time he went to push lol. Now he's clean and sleeping in his baby hammock. Yayy for us both.

My induction is set for 10 am Monday. This totally doesn't work for my mom and she is determined to put me into labor today or tomorrow.

My fffc is that I'm totally allowing her to go all crazy because I'm done with being pregnant.

Pretty sure I'm going to make it to Monday but I'm not going to tell her that in case it could work.

@samounthak Last night, DS had finally gone to sleep after two straight hours of nursing, burping, and screaming hell because he's having reflux issues, and DH said his diaper felt wet. I basically told him that if he attempted to change DS's diaper at that point, I'd rip his hands off.

My 2nd confession - DH came home from work early to find me eating peanut butter from the jar on the couch with a fussy LO. I promptly handed him LO and left for a mani pedi. I told him we have crackers if he wants to eat the peanut butter for dinner.

He's usually fantastic, but he pissed me off yesterday and I'm feeling like holding a grudge. I'm sure that grudge will pass by the end of my foot massage and I will be a delight by the time I get home.

Last night while dtd (trying anything to get things going before discussing induction next week) and during the act realized i had ice cream cone crumbs all over my bump. Spent the last minutes of dtd action sad that i ate all the ice cream and now we are completely out. :-(

While at the midwives today she was telling me ways to help get my cervix to soften and mentioned semen looked at DH and said "make a deposit" I thought it was so hilarious that I'm planning on calling sexy time making a deposit from now on.

Mine's terrible and I feel like a bad person.

My best friend who was due after me had her baby today and I'm ridiculously jealous. Thrilled for her, but jealous. It's an awful feeling.

Every day this week I've been feeling worse and worse. Sciatic pain, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, migraines with vision problems, my lower abdomen is ready to just fall open, I can't keep my blood pressure under control... I woke up today and told DH I don't know how much more I can take. The baby is somewhere around my thighs she's so low. And then...the text she had her baby. It hit me like a ton of bricks. Of course I started crying and DH just thought I was happy and I didn't have the heart to say I'm a terrible person and I'm crying out of jealousy.

That's probably my worst FFFC yet. I'm a bad friend.

@cakebatter27‌ -- I feel ya. The past few weeks have been the hardest BY FAR, and my good friend just had her baby. I'm suuuuper jealous and now still being pregnant feels that much harder. You're not a bad friend. I think we all are just over being pregnant and very anxious to be on the other side of all this. Hang in there!

@cakebatter27‌ you are definitely not alone. I was just so upset this evening and past two days because 2 people I know were due after me and one had their baby Wed and then this evening. I was just heartbroken. Especially since two weeks ago they estimated our LO to be 9 lbs. I was just thinking "why hasn't he come yet?" I physically and emotionally hurt. We are in this together and in the final stretch. I think going even longer shows how strong you are and is a testament to how much you can handle. Hugs >:D<

I'm feeling the same way. It's harder to enjoy this squishy newborn, laissez faire time when you have a toddler who needs routine...

No, I think you'd have every reason to be upset at that point.  Especially since DTD is one of the most commonly recommended ways to get things moving along!  Glad to hear you had some delicious custard--and got some much-needed lovin'!

Hopefully in the next couple of days we'll see a baby post from you that doesn't mention induction (and me, too!)

Amen! I hate to wish away the time, but I like knowing what to expect in my day.

@cakebatter27‌ I understand how you feel exactly. I know of 2 women that shared my due date, both went early and another friend who was 2 weeks behind me that had her lo on my due date. It's been really hard to wait.

It's not Friday anymore, but obviously nobody else cares either so I'll tack some on:

I am annoyed with people who are unhappy about the newborn phase.  Yes, I'm happy for you having your baby and all, but also want to say "f you" because I want to have *my* newborn.

Bitchy randoms/lurkers who now decide they want to participate and act like jerks to "regulars" really need to go away.  Seriously?  Who do you think you are and you act like we should give a crap about your aunt, your fear of pain meds, or your birth story?  I don't even feel bad since I've said repeatedly that if you don't participate, you can't expect people to know/care about you and last time I said it, the random/lurker told me they weren't going to post their SS story.  That's fab, perhaps you should have passed the word along to all the others.

ETA:  Also, I am sad that baby hasn't decided to come out today.  I was anti her being born on my bday at first, but now I kind of like the idea of doing a girls' day to celebrate our bday each year.  Which apparently is not going to happen.  :P

Did you see the story from a few days ago about the grandma, mom, and baby that all share the same b-day, July 2nd?  I thought that was pretty cool.  If my baby comes tomorrow he'll share a birthday with one of my grandfathers, which would be really sweet.  I don't think he's gonna come tomorrow, though.
