@Eastie156, I don't see anything wrong with it, but I'm sure if your kid is playing with it every day it gets to be a headache to put it all away. Unless your tupperware cabinet looks like mine and it's a game of Russian roulette every time you open it....will this be the time you're safe, or are you going to get hit with 6 lids and 2 bowls?

Not trying to be snarky, but what's wrong with playing with Tupperware/rubbermaid?

I have zero issues with it. DH doesn't like it because then it needs to be cleaned before use. He doesn't like the extra cleaning requirement.

I don't think I ever clean my Tupperware after DS plays with it. (unless it's noticeably dirty or if he was sucking on it or something)

That said, if we ever get a dog again, I may go the mutt/shelter route.

My cousins did the pure-bred route with their dog, paid quite a bit for it, and thought they were avoiding the hip dysplasia (were told that the dog would not end up with that). 3 years later, they've spent over $15,000 on vet bills and surgeries for this dog with severe hip problems and who knows what else.

They swear they will never do a pure-bred again.

We have one pure bred and one rescue. I think a lot has to do with upbringing and training. We got our rescue at around 1 yr old though....

Not a UO, more of a WTF....just got 4 text messages from some unknown numbers...must've been typed into a mass text by mistake.

Just so everyone knows, Sandy's bachelorette party starts at 7pm on Friday at Muggle's and so far 1 person is going and 2 can't. I feel like I should respond with something about strippers, but would hate for all of these people to then start calling me at 7pm on Friday wondering where me and my strippers are....

Whenever some rando accidentally texts DH he will fuck with them for hours. It is sad but kind of hilarious.

That's so funny! I texted my SIL with both numbers I had in my phone. I wasn't sure which one she had since one was newer. Some rando texted me back say I had the wrong number then they said they didn't want me eating alone since I was texting my SIL about lunch plans. I had to laugh but thought it was actually pretty nice of them to reply!

I'd totally screw with them though. How could you not?

Update. DH gave my phone number to some of the women in the stupid club so I could "stay connected." Some woman named Sandy who I've never met is marrying one of the old guys I've also never met. And DH wants me to go to said wedding next Saturday but never bothered to tell me about it, nor bothered to find a sitter.

Sometimes I swear I'm married to the smartest idiot in all the land. I mean come on. My DH was a nuclear chemist. He's had chemist/nerd jobs his entire adult life. He can fix just about anything and explains things to me at such a level that I'm completely lost and yet he seems genuinely confused as to why I'd be irritated about any of this. It's remarkable. I swear.

The smarter the man is in his field of study/work, the less common sense he has.

The reason I have to 'read' DH any ikea instructions (or build it myself) and then listen to him give me an advanced physics lecture at dinner about breast implants...

My rocket scientist is the same way. The kids' closet light got stuck on pretty late at night as we were struggling to get them down. He come storming out muttering about pliers. I pointed out he could just unscrew the Fing light bulb. Not so swift. Thank goodness you didn't mess with the texting people then.

I am upset that my cousin just had her baby on my birthday. She also used our #1 girl name for the baby I have yet to conceive. I am irrationally sad. I am okay with that.
