It's really a win, win for them.

Large amount of sales in a quick period, little to no inventory in their warehouse, and it makes people who wouldn't buy a diaper buy more.

I haven't really been crazy about the last 4 prints, but my OCD is sad that I won't have a "complete" set, especially since I had the chance to get Jules/Carrol.

I don't get why they didn't put a pre order up for a LE print, but do for a new solid color (like with armadillo). At least if they did the preorders, they could garner some chatter and still stock the one time. Right?

Well, their plan worked. This will be my first BG. I liked the challenge of fighting with the website and the joy of the victory of getting one and the agony of defeat being charged for two LOL! I am a SUCKER! My husband said he really likes the print so it isn't a total loss. He also said he is going to go buy himself something for $20. Whatevs...

Sigh because of a student loan payment thing getting royally fucked up, I'll be selling both the flip and the elemental I got yesterday. I'll wait till the stores run out and the put mine on ebay. If you ordered from cottonbabies check your account today. I guess some people's orders are being cancelled already...... Mine says something about fulfillment so I should be good at receiving mine.

@cedenton, check places like kelly's closets and other cloth diaper shops. Most stores have not received their shipments yet.

Ok...so CB has taken the money from our account, but they don't show a pending order and I've gotten no confirmation email (from yesterday's order). Should I be worried?

@kelly11235, I'm not sure. I would call or e-mail and ask. I know they were having lots of problems with glitches and something due to pay pal. However, because so many people were having issues, they have longer call wait times......

We like their 4.0s and Flip covers, but the artificial hype and crashing website are damn annoying.

Already covered. Bought a flip and an elemental. I was going to sell for a profit, but arrangements can be made once they arrive.....

Also, there is still a chance to get it at places like Kelly's closet etc.

I've been kicking myself for missing the cottonbabies stocking (I had one in my cart and then decided to do it later ) ... because I do actually like this print. Its colors are very similar to DH's alma matter, and I like the hats. I like it a lot better than the mustache theme for boys.

I looked into the Abby's Lane stocking - looks like it's Friday at 9pm Eastern.

Oh, and Green Mountain Diapers said on their Facebook page that they'd be stocking them next week I think.

That's for a blog that's been compiling a list of who's getting stockings when, in case folks are still looking.

I was able to snag one last night at Abby Lane. DH and I were both on waiting for the stocking (because he's kind of awesome like that), and he managed to snag one. It's amazing how fast these are selling out. While I definitely hate the hoopla this is causing, I won't deny that I'll be happy to resell this one at a profit when LO is done with it!
