New BG Print!!

Saw on the b/s/t page that ther eis a new print. Chaplain. I can't get to the cottonbabies website to check it out, but someone posted a pic.

Eh, I liked the Rhett Butler one from April Fool's more.  But I'll totally be getting this one.  I still want an Audrey, I'm just not willing to pay $50 for a diaper.

They had it in Flip, Newborn, 4.0, and elemental.  I couldn't get to the actual product page though.  It crashed trying to get in to see the 4.0.

This is what I was thinking, too! It seems kind of sad to want to invest in diaper just b/c it is a limited print, but then it seems stupid not to knowing that they will be so outrageously expensive after everyone buys them up.

that's kind of what I was thinking.  But I don't think my husband would see this as an investment...

Well, worst case scenario you can use it or sell it for the regular NIP price.

Completely agree! All these limited prints kinda makes me glad I don't "collect" BG.

I don't care whether they add prints or solids, I just wish they wouldn't make them limited edition.  I bought Albert, Irwin, Lovelace all when I wanted to because they were just regularly stocked diapers.  This is stupid.

Seriously-if they want to pretend they have these highly sought after, super-genuine, spectacular prints...make a website that can handle the traffic. It's kind of embarrassing that they're creating this false supply & demand frenzy and can't even back it up

I'm actually kind of glad that I don't care for it lol now I don't need to buy it. Although it would be nice to have one NIP to sell later... I have an Audrey and while I do like it, I'm not totally in love and this print is very similar. Come on BG! We need some inspired prints!!

They are back up but it is not behaving, I had a few random things added to my cart that I had not chosen. I got 2 FT's and one 4.0. I will sell in the future

I don't understand how BG is making money by having such limited prints.  They still sell at a similar price right?  4.0's for $19?  They are reselling for ridiculous amounts, but BG doesn't get that money.  Wouldn't you make more money by SAYING its limited edition, but making enough to satisfy demand?

I'm fine with awesome, HTF prints...or limited prints. But these are ugly! The only reason people think they're awesome is because they're told they're limited. I refuse to be sucked in

They most likely place one purchase order for a set amount that is the best possible quantity for them to purchase it at and still sell out all of the diapers.

They then tell people it is limited quantity.  The people then snatch up the diapers.  Leaving Cotton Babies with no inventory and no carrying costs.

I'm guessing they make a pretty good margin on their diapers.  And releasing these prints entices people that would normally not buy a new diaper to purchase one.

Plus they can always order a reprint.

It's really a win, win for them.

Large amount of sales in a quick period, little to no inventory in their warehouse, and it makes people who wouldn't buy a diaper buy more.
