it's Monday and my nipple has been irritated for the last 2 weeks. It feels like it was rubbed raw, which I guess it has been. It hurts to nurse and pump but if i don't it gets clogged and then it's a bigger bitch to correct.

@jenstwins Ya unfortunately I have the right sized flanges, I had no problems till one day I had a minor cut on my nipple, well that has turned into a sore nipple. At first when it happened I also had a clog, so I pumped to get the clog out and had my daughter nurse more frequently on that breast. Well it only made it produce more milk and then I was really up a shit creek. I've been putting so much lanolin on it that it seeped through my blouse at work, which I didn't realize till I got home. L-)

I am not a fan of killing them off, but I understand that if you don't they will only get worse. This is a poison that they eat, and bring back to the nest so it kills them all. MH and I had to use it years ago when he still lived with his dad. You could hear the mice/rats fighting in the walls and it freaked me the fuck out. Normally I'm not scared of rodents but you could hear them screeching at each other, it was awful. Plus one of them stole granola bars we had left out on the counter and in the middle of the night opened one up in the bedroom. It was SO loud, it sounded like a bag of chips being opened!

My mil is being extra passive aggressive lately and putting the guilt trip on DH. But she sees DD at least three times a week, if not more. And she won't stop texting- but if I don't respond, she goes to DH and then he feels like he's stuck between me and her.

Not that I don't like the woman, but she needs to give us some space!

@ShellsBells1980‌ you should look into a therapist who is vestibular rehab certified. If you see a doc they can refer you. It can work wonders for a true vertigo!

My bitch is that my parents moved in with us for 4-6 weeks (that's fine) but one of them woke up my kid at 5:15 being noisy. Took me an hr to get her back down. That was the last hr I had to sleep before getting up for work.

I want to bitch about how stupid my ex-friend is. Went and hung with a mutual friend yesterday and she proceeded to tell me that the ex friend said she was "happy as long as she was pregnant for 26 weeks because that is when the % rate goes up for surviving outside the womb."

No you stupid dumb bitch. You want that baby to bake as long as possible so they come out healthy and happy. She is sooo stupid it still irritates me even though we aren't friends anymore.

Mine is that my work situation is not working out. I was supposed to start my new job the beginning of June and I haven't started yet. Not really complianing about that, as I would like to stay home anyways.

Today I called because they haven't called me at all to tell me when I will have clients. Well I have one Wednesday and she said I might have more this week. That's nice but I've told her a million times I stay at home with DD and need to know my schedule a week ahead of time so I can line up daycare or a sitter.

So now I need someone to watch DD Wednesday for a couple hours and I still will not know my schedule for next week in time to set up daycare because daycare needs to know tomorrow. Ugh!

@jt7dreamz - You're in NYC, right? Not to be creepy, but my brother just moved to the suburbs and is looking for a new family for their nanny. She's amazing - literally the only reason they're not keeping her is it's way too far for her to commute every day. Let me know if you want more info. MH has his moments where he is helpful and puts in his share or more, but more often than not he is so lazy. On average he has four responsibilities, mow the lawn/or shovel depending on the season, take out the trash and take it to the curb, clean the cat box (he took this over when I got pregnant and I haven't taken it back yet) and do his own laundry.

Probably 3 times out of 5 I have to take the trash outside because I am sick of trying to cram more stuff in, and then he typically only takes it to the curb every other week. Lately he has been having some guys on his lawn crew stop and mow our lawn...they do it for free which is nice but our yard is small, there is no reason he cannot do it. He slacks on the cat box, but I'll be taking that back soon, and now he thinks I should do his laundry again once I am a SAHM.

Excuse me? You have four responsibilties, you slack off or make someone else do them and now you think you shouldn't have to do your laundry either? He seems to think I will be spending my days watching soap operas and eating bon bons.

My other bitch is my dad was too good of a husband and father. He set the bar too high. Had I know how most men are (many of MHs friends are the same way as mine) I could have been better prepared.

Are you sure she didn't mean it in a way that meant she'd just be a little more relaxed (wrong word?) by then because the chances for survival are higher?

I said something similar, but what i meant was i'd feel more optimistic about the survival of my baby IF she was born at that age and it couldn't be stopped for whatever reason, not that i'd want to get her out asap. I try to think we all mean of course we want to be pregnant for at least 40 weeks, but once we get to a certain point in pregnancy it just makes us feel a bit more relaxed.

This, I'm hoping that is what she meant. My goal for this pregnancy was 24-26 weeks because then she would at least have a fighting chance, but I was overjoyed that she stayed in until my 39 week induction, and even had to be forcefully evicted. But if she really meant she just doesn't want to be pregnant the whole time and would be fine with having a preemie for her own convenience, then yeah, stupid bitch.

Why don't nail polish manufacturers say on the bottle whether a color is opaque or translucent? I bought a color that I thought was opaque only to find it took three coats and was still sheer. Ugh, I would've never wasted the $9! Also, why can't nail polish come in half sizes (in brands I like)? I almost never get through a whole bottle, in fact, I only wear a color maybe 2-3 times. I would rather pay $5 for a half bottle than $9 for a full bottle.

Another one. I miss milk. I stopped eating anything cows milk related because LO seemed to have a cows milk intolerance- it's been three weeks and she's a totally different baby. I'm happy she's happy and comfortable but I miss milk! And the worst part is that I tried a soy milk latte and not only did I irritate F again but I got stomach cramps too! Same with cream cheese! So far almond milk is better but it's not the same - lame bitch but coffee just doesn't taste the same.

I just want to bitch because I'm sick again. I was finally getting over a sinus infection after about a week and a half, and now I got a cold from LO from daycare. I am so effing stuffed up. Sudafed is barely touching it. 2 weeks of sinus issues, I'm ready to chop off my head.

And then, DH was a sweetheart and took care of LO and left early to do dropoff so I could sleep in. Except I didn't repack bags from this weekend and my car keys are in the diaper bag. So I am stranded at home. Luckily I can work from home but I hate it now. I loved it before baby, and was lucky to be able to work from home for 3 weeks when I was on bedrest. But it sucks to be in an empty house all day without baby. It's like something is missing or I'm forgetting something. I miss my boy.

Says she hopes her baby is 5 weeks early because it would be more convenient for her maternity leave if he was born before Thanksgiving break. Same girl who doesn't know pregnancy is longer than 9 months and keeps posting things like "less than 5 months" and when people correct her she tells them they are all wrong. She also posted the other day that she was working on her registry, and put #buymeshit. Not sure why this annoys me so much, but it does. I'm probably jealous because I miss being pregnant.

Also, I stepped in dog shit this morning when I was going to get Brooke. Gross!

finally got our attic looked at because I heard noises. Yup rats... the exterminator looked freaked out there were so many. He talked to our landlord who wants a second opinion now?! I am totally skeeved and hope we can get another quote soon. But its super annoying. I work from home and take care of LO so I have to schedule pumping etc. around an inspection and treatment. such a pain. And super gross

@kare_bear_12‌ I really hope your friend meant she hopes she makes it at least 26 weeks. My DS1 was born at 27 weeks and spent the first 9 weeks of his life in hospital. He had chest compressions to start his heart, an insulin drip, was intubated 4 times under a paralytic, had 2 spinal taps, systemic yeast infection, so many IVs that he still has scars from them. And that was him doing extremely WELL! They expected him to stay at least 13 weeks. Preemies are not something to be flippant about and it drives me it's when people are like that. He looked like a scalded naked kitten when he was born.

1. My dog saga continues. My poor pup needs to be weaned off his meds before the vet is able to test him for Addison's Disease. It takes about 3.5 weeks to safely wean him. We are a week in and because he isn't taking his medication he is getting worse. It is seriously depressing.

2. I have a weird allergic reaction happening in my eyes that is driving me nuts.

My only bitch today is that my milk production all of a sudden tanked. I was almost exclusively EPing for the last month or so, with some nursing sessions in between, and I've been producing 36 oz a day. suddenly this weekend I'm barely getting half that, and had to go into my freezer stash to make sure LO had enough bottles today. WTF happened?? I'm not sick, if anything my diet has improved, the only new thing is that I started full time again at work last week. gah. I hope maybe I just need to drink some water or something because I will be very sad if I stop producing, or don't produce enough to feel lo exclusively bm.

I'm so sorry about your poor pup @LittlePigeon‌ I have also been having a crazy eye irritation the last few days. Have you tried a warm compress on your eye to relieve the pain/itching?

Thanks. It is so hard but I feel silly being so upset about it.

And no I have not! I will give it a try today. I am starting to get headaches from the constant ache of it.
