Needs coffee intravenously today

Reese has been awake for the day since 4am--damn those vital signs and her falling asleep to early last night. She has been asking for a hamburger since 4am. 

I need an IV drip of coffee today. Hopefully we take an early morning nap.

    She definitely will at lunch. She has been on a hamburger kick lately. (At least it is protein)

    They always did my blood draws in the middle of the night and I could never go back to sleep. Do you guys know when you might get to go home?


    We're up early here too but for no reason apparently. LO didn't go to bed early or anything. I'm pretty sure he has a well baby visit today but they didn't call to remind me so I'm not sure what time. So I'm chugging my coffee and waiting for them to open to call.

    We are track to leave late afternoon or tomorrow morning. Her chemo numbers have to be .9 to leave. I know it is because she doesn't nap in the hospital well; and then she crashes at about 5:30 or so, but doesn't eat dinner (so her last meal may be at about 4pm)--and she tends to wake up on the 12 hour mark from hungry--which incidentally coincides with vitals. 

    Luckily there is a coffee shop that is open 24 hours in the hospital--so I took full advantage of it. The coffee isn't bad either. And the hospital cafeteria serves Wawa coffee. The gift shop serves Starbucks. So I definitely have my choice. And sometimes if i am lucky, they have volunteers push a Wawa coffee cart throughout the hall for free coffee. (It isn't every day, I only managed to catch it once or twice)

    Yeah, the dietician I saw in l&d let me eat chicken sandwiches pretty much my whole stay (besides breakfast because that's my favorite meal) because she said eating something I liked over and over is better than not eating at all.

    She fell back asleep--and I can't until 9am now. I want to register Reese for an event that starts at 9:00 and the spots fill up fast.

    Im sitting here drinking iced coffee, watching Jake Owen perform on the Today show. He'spretty damn hot!! Whew! And his song "Beachin" is so catchy...makes me wanna just sit on the beach with a cocktail or something :)

    LO keeps hitting himself in the head with his chair and saying ow. Well no shit kid. Stop.

    No doctor appointment today. We might go to story time at the library, but one page on their site says it it's 10:30 and one says 11:30. We're quickly approaching nap time so I hope it's later..

    Hi.  Tired here, today, too.  First day back to work after vacation.  Lo decided he wanted to sleep in his big bed this weekend.  The problem with that is he wakes up before 6 and starts playing and making a lot of noise.  This morning it was 5:45 and he was yelling at me to come put him in his crib. I did, and he was quiet after that. 

    5:45 is too early to wake up, but too late for me to go back to sleep so I am moving slowly this morning.

    We spent 3 hours in the ER with DS last night. He woke up gasping for air and coughing so hard he was gagging. Took him to the ER and chest xray  was fine, breathing sounded fine. Well, this morning he's doing it again and has a really raspy cough so I guess I'm going to make an appt with his DR or go to urgent care.

    So. Tired. Was up until 2:30am talking things out with H, then E was up at 5:30 for a poopy diaper and a feeding, then up for good at 6:30 to see the family off. I'm trying to put E down so we can both nap.

    So, my husband's boss decided to switch from weekly pay to bi-weekly pay while we were on vacation.  Which means he didn't get a paycheck on Friday.  Which means our bank account is all f-ed up.  I think he only did it because he didn't feel like doing payroll while my H was gone.

    Way to do that with no warning, asshole.

    Today is going to be rough I can tell. LO WON'T eat breakfast.
    SO has taken a hill to die on about paYing daycare for the 4th.
    My cramps and cough are the worst combo ever.

    I've been productive so far today. DH loaded up our moving boxes and took them away, so I finally got to arrange the pantry/laundry room the way I wanted. I've been trying to entertain DD while doing laundry.  We did playdoh and fruit loop necklace.  I am about to cave and turn on the TV before nap.

    Thanks everyone for the well wishes, I really appreciate it. I heard him cough up something, but he doesn't know how to spit so I assume he swallowed it. He's breathing fine now, but whenever he starts coughing it sounds raspy/wheezy/wet. I'm just waiting on my mom to get off work since DH is at work with our car until 6:15. I hope they can do something for him.

    @Inkogneetoh‌ that is frustrating. We're both not very good with saving money but if I had to give him allowance I would be pissed. I only have one child! I say that to SO a lot
