how long did it take to conceive your 2nd LO?

DD#1 took us a while of no birth control (last depo shot was June 2007. Got pregnant July 2008 and miscarried Aug 2008 at 6wks NTNP until. BFP April 2009)

Had an IUD from 6wks PP until 10months PP and then went to NTNP until BFP March 2011. NTNP ever since. After DS is born we're done and having tubes tied.

I've never charted or anything.

We conceived the 1st month trying with DS.

It took 2 "cycles" with DD, but I'm thinking it's because I was still nursing and was just starting to get a period again.

#1 was a surprise conceived while preventing (condoms).

He was born July 2013. In February I started thinking we should consider working toward #2. I cannot have another summer baby. Because of my job the majority of my work is done June-August and being out for half the summer last year means I lost half my wages for the whole year. We can't afford to do that again. So we planned to try until my July cycle and then stop until next winter. Well, I hadn't even gotten my first pp period. By April I was concerned I wouldn't get my period in time, so I started using an Essential Oil called Sclaressence. I guess that worked because in April is started getting really painful to nurse so I took a pregnancy test and it was a BFP. That ended in an early m/c in May. Which sucked BUT it did start my period back up! I got a period in June and then got pregnant the next cycle.

#2: 3rd cycle actively trying, but we were NTNP for a while before that.

My first BFP took about 3 months, the 2nd BFP we waited the 6 weeks of course to have sex, then at week 8 that was it. I was knocked up. Ahhhh!!

Our first baby took 3 or 4 months to conceive. With this baby it took one time.

I was TTC for 3 months and had a MS By Nov13 ... The future looked uncertain and we planned to TTC that Feb but to our surprise I was already Pregnant w DD By Jan13 ! Truly a blessing she is almost 10months and we were thinking about #2 and here we are pleasantly surprised again.
